I think Hyce needs to see this and see if they can use these in some of the 3d train video games they are making.

These are precisely the True Line Trains MP36. It looks like Atlas just bought the tooling from them. The TLT MP36's did a better job of fading the silver to the blue. Aaaand, now you just mentioned that. I owned 4 of the TLT models. They came in a foam case, like kato locomotives. They were pretty nice.

The absolute model railroad madness that I watched with great interest yesterday and today. 👍 Unfortunately, my English is not so good, so I could only follow your explanations to a limited extent. I'll have this text translated by Deepl Pro so that everything is perfect. Deepl is also working on translating spoken texts in real time, so I can finally follow the explanations in a foreign language. Back to the layout: an incredible masterpiece, what you and your friends have created. I have seen many American model train layouts on KZbin, but this one is more than fantastic. A long time ago, I saw a video that presented a huge layout in a museum or something similar. Your layout reflects reality very perfectly. I looked at a few prototype pictures and compared them to the structures on your layout. It's incredibly realistic. The prototypical speeds, the acoustics of the various locomotives... phenomenal! I really liked the acoustics with the water crane, the lowering/raising of the water arm, the realistic filling noise, great. I would be very interested in some technical details, for example the dimensions of the entire layout (length, width, height), how long you worked on this masterpiece, etc. I would be very happy to receive some information. To keep this comment from getting too long, I'll just end by saying how thrilled I am with this amazing layout. Are there more videos of this model railroad ? Model railroading greetings from Cologne, Germany. Reiner 🙂

As a new member of modeling 2.5 inch scale there’s a lot that I need to learn. Brakes is definitely on my list.

Thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and layout. Regarding the Laker freighter: US Navy Armed Guard personnel would have embarked on US-flagged Merchant Marine-crewed ships during World War II for self defense on the gun mounts against U-boats or surface raiders. US Coast Guard was well-occupied in other duties, such as Port Security, domestic harbor defense, surface patrols, lighthouses, lightships, navigational aids, buoy tenders and law enforcement. US Navy History and Heritage Command can provide additional information for those interested.

Love to see the live steam engines. Don’t find the diesel replicas that interesting. Thanks for bringing this to us.

With all the Tangent 86 footers I did get a few Class One Thrall 86 footers for variety from the first run but I'm not sure how many more 86 footers I can fit on my layout.

Any idea how I can get a Utah Railway in orange livery? I have the gray but I like the orange a lot. I have no artistic skill and can't make my own.

the pink foam for the bottom footings of the trestle is a good idea that I will do because the rotting thing is what has prevented me from making my trestles. Have a lot of raised track.
