Easily the most volatile race car on the planet. They are the Fuel Altereds and the AA before the FA, which means there's nitro in the tank. Today's Fuel Altereds are limited by a 6.00 index, but sometimes running that 6.0 is easier said than done. Here's a brief compilation from Bakersfield.

Man, that half-track long burnout Nitro Rat did was the most spectacular burnout I've ever seen! I wish we'd see more of that. That 5.77 Keith Wilson ran on Sunday night was awesome too, even if he didn't win the trophy because of it.

Back in the 60’s when I was a young teenager my neighbor owned Pure Heaven 2 we won a lot of races,even held the record for 11 straight wins at OCIR.ive got a lot of stories about being at the drags.one time at Irwindale we were racing the Winged Express ,we were still push starting the cars then .Willie & Mousey were in front of us pushing down when Willie ran into the guard rail but that didn’t stop him from making the turn and running the race.

Take me back to 1968 1969 Miami Hollywood Speedway watching AA FA name of the car was Baby Huey jumping all four tires off the ground at the light it was sure awesome then

Actually the AA before FA doesn'T signify fuel or nitro in the tank. The lone F does. AA signifies the level of A-altered it is
