its the hot key for shortening layers. i wanna say on a mac its command left and right brackets and on a pc its control left and right brackets. if im wrong on that then just search the hotkey in ae for it

GOTTA PROBLEM!.i don't know what been going on with my after effects. but it doesn't edit in real time. For example: I'm adding color correction to a video by using curves and but as i'm moving the curve the changes are not being shown in preview, until i actually let go off the mouse are the changes shown. and it applies to everything. which can be so annoying when doing things like motion graphics. It used to work on my old computer, i dont know what changed. Thanks baker, great tuts.

Aae does not allow for sound in a normal playback. It allows for sound with a Render Preview (It is a button that looks like this: ||> It is next to the play options on the right hand side of the screen.

it is adobe after effects cs5.5 and yes it is compatible with windows. You must have a 64bit operating system though.

yo baker please read. i have an old version and new version on MBL and when i add custum looks to the folder, it automatically goes into the older version rather then the new because I installed the older first. Any ideas because you also have a mac. Thanks some help would be much appreciated.

Heey. How for heaven's sake did you use Twixtor without warping your clip? I watches about 20 tutorials for twixtor here on yt, but all with that bullshit warping.
