Oh my gosh, I Love what you said about “children need to learn disappointment … in order to learn coping”. THIS is EXACTLY what the main issue is with SO many today!

I agree, she is too young, she needs to be enjoying her youth,on the other hand you did the right thing Ash,family & business doesnt go together, another thing is I love hearing the stories Ash relates when she is baking, that is what makes her special so if some of you dont like it,stop saying that you dont like it because no one is forcing you to look,go on to another person's video, simple as that!!!!

Executive function was never a strong point in the tween crowd and quite frankly it no longer is with teenagers as their parents seem to do everything for them and shield them from any little bit of stress or disappointment. I hired a 17 year old rising senior to clean out my flower bed and he asked me no less than six times over the span of two hours some basic questions about minor things that he should have been able to handle. Never again.

SO SORRY this happened to you. Toxic families are the worst. Remember that you are talented, intelligent & you have an awesome, supportive husband that is on board with you...family or not. 🎯

This didn't happen to her. She's "responding to wild bakery stories".

I enjoyed the story but most of all your opinions. This should be a new thing for you, Dear Sweet Dreams
