Ms. Small, professional baker here. Toothpick test is only used when checking if a cake is already baked. For cookies, just check if the edges are already brown. No need to do the toothpick test. You also have to mix the all the dry ingredients then all the wet ingredients, then mix it together para evenly distributed yung ingredients and mixed very well. Great job for a first timer, though 😊

It's fun family bonding! You always bring positive vibes. For your mixer attachments po, the flat mixer blade is used for thick batters such as cookies and brownies. The one that you used is a balloon whisk and for liquids or airy mixtures such as boiled sugar icing, meringues and whipped creams (but it worked for your cookie!). The last one that looks like a hook is a dough hook used for kneading like for bread dough. Hope this helps po.

I see our bunso in Aton when she was her age. Quiet as maybe typical of daughters still entering their teens, particularly when you're on cam! tip : the darker the sugar the better. replace 1cup of all purpose flour to bread flour and coat the chocolate chip with flour before adding in to the dough freeze for about 20-30mns before baking or much better overnight :) 8-13mns is enough cooking time for a chewy texture
