7 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
3 large egg whites
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
Mini Cadbury Candy Eggs (Milk Chocolate)
Royal Icing for decorating

Loved making these #Easter themed #Chocolate #Cookies! We used a lot of decorating tips and tricks to complete it. These cookies are perfect for spring or any other time of year! They are easy to make and only take a few minutes to bake. Not to mention they are also gluten free!

I made something similar to this! I got coco pops in the shape of rice, then melted chocolate, and then mixed them together. Then I got little cupcake holders and put a bit of mixture and moulded them into nest shapes by flattening the middle downward! It's so yummy, simple and adorable! An extra to it is to put tiny eggs in it and it will be more like a chocolate nest! Thank you Ro! 💝 I'm proud of you, really!

I actually made this recipe and I really loved it because it was so easy to make and it was delicious! I didn’t have any coconut flakes so I substituted that with vanilla flavored granola and it actually worked really well. The sweetness of the vanilla granola substituted nicely for the sweetness of the sweetened coconut flakes and the granola was bumpy and imperfect so the texture worked well for a birds nest. I used two cups of granola and that worked for me. Thanks Ro for this great recipe!!🥰
