Oh Kaela im so sorry, hope you're doing well. I had PPD after both of my daughter's. They are 8 years apart. First time it lasted a year or so and my second daughter it lasted 4, almost 5, years all because i didn't have a support system AT ALL with my second. I unfortunately didnt get professional help with either out of fear of them being removed from me. Thankfully the stigmas with ppd are fading and its no longer an extremely shameful "rare" and "dangerous" condition like ppl use to think it was... its actually not rare and 99% of the time its not dangerous. Not everyone with ppd wants to harm their baby, it manifests in thousands of different ways. Which i know you know all this, im saying it just incase someone reads your comment and tries to come for you lol. My ppd didnt manifest with thoughts of hurting my babies it subconsciously manifested with me thinking i would ruin them somehow because i was inadequate in some way and i have an issue with everyone ive ever loved dying or leaving so somehow my brain thought if i pushed them away and didnt bond with them that they wouldn't die or leave... sounds absolutely ridiculous now and it did then as well.. its hard to describe and those who haven't had ppd never understand...but i digress.... i commented to say, my email is [e-mail] and if you ever need someone to yell at, yell with, to have a bitch fest with or just need someone to listen, email me, ill be here 🤗 having no support and no one in your corner makes it almost impossible to overcome ppd... now keep being a badass, you've got this Momma!!! 🤗🤗🤗

@@mandimoo87 not being a negative comment but when i felt low and in that kind of head space I couldn't even comprehend a to do list so I get what u are saying each to their own! One thing works for 1 person and that doesn't work for all. The one thing that helped me was other people saying your not alone and the thoughts you have are normal and you will get through it. Again some take longer than others the same as babies aren't always the same as others and the advice they give on parenting. No hate im just saying I couldn't even think about a to do list on my good days let alone a bad day. x

I'm sorry to hear that about your dad. I've had an undiagnosed chronic health condition for 19 years and my dad still doesn't care to understand or empathize with my struggles so I can relate to you. A while ago, I think in 2020 I learned about tourettes and tics in general because it peaked my interest (I like learning about different disorders/disability) and now toward the start of this year I have started developing or at least noticing I was starting to have things like tics and they progressed quite fast tbh, now watching these videos is a different experience because instead of just being interested and wanting to learn, it makes me feel more noticed and comforted, especially with my sister recently gave me the news my mom has noticed them (haven't mentioned them to her and honestly try to hold them back around her) and things I'm faking for attention which I was already struggling with imposter syndrome so that didn't help, watching these videos definitely helps

There is nothing more important to me than being close to your parents. Mine are my absolute best friends, always have been. They are both sick now and I am their full time care giver. I just love watching relationships like this. And it's so amazing how supportive they are of you. I see so many saying they don't have that which is so unfortunate because it's not your fault and the people who made you should be your biggest supporters. I have two anxiety disorders and normally I can cope well with the panic attacks but today has been a hard day. Thank you so much for uploading a lighthearted video that made me laugh.
