Why do not we put leaven in the matzot? When the people left Egypt, he had put the leaven; but the bread had not had time to swell. This is the shade!

Real authentic matzah was replaced with cracker matzah only recently, some Sephardi comunities still make the pita-like flat bread the original way. Though cracker matzah became a tradition onto itself with the invention of food factories and making things to sell on a store shelf. The original style matzah if you choose to make it will have to be eaten that day

you never mention the reason they were told to eat the unleavened bread. God was completly left out of this.

keyWestKid99. Because the Israelites many of them learned the ways of Egyptians...... A little bit of leaven will leaven the whole lump. That is why we need to take the leaven out of our heart, the one that contaminates the whole intire body. With bath toughts.

I agree. This guy is indeed a bit too Zionistic and Nationalistic for my taste as well. If you bake matzot, at least mention *why* you do it and tell the story.

I know this is an old post but I agree. This is more of a thoughtless process instead of them thinking/reflecting on the true meaning of passover. He even brought up the holocaust but never Yahusha

its funny how the true israelites are dark skinned people according to the bible this is proof Song of Solomon 1:5 Jeremiah 8:21 Jeremiah 14:2 Lamentations 4:8 Job 30:30 Lamentations 5:10 Revelation 1:14 Daniel 10:5 this guy talks about holocaust when the slave trade was the biggest holocaust ever done to the real jews this scripture also proves it Who Are The Real Israelites Today: Deuteronomy 28:15 - And it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: Deuteronomy 28:68 - And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt (meaning bondage Exodus 20:2) again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you. (meanin no man shall save you. Read Deuteronomy 28:15-68)

It said in two days( 2000 years according to bible) TMH would revive Israel or awaken us, which is the new millinium 2000. They added 8 years to the calender; according to biblical time we are currently in 2006, not 2014. The truth cannot be hid anymore. Hotep.

use all the equipment and technology of today and leave the leaven outside the recipe... is this how your ancestors did it? You are saying they did not have time to wait until the dough could get fermented. So, they used leaven but their bread was not leavened. If you are simulating your ancestors' traditions, take your flour to the desert, use the water from a well or river, and eat it with plants from the fields, not from supermarkets. then come and tell me you are following your ancestors' traditions. my genius guy! you do not have time to wait for the dough to leaved, but you have enough time to run the roller on each bread, just to not let it fermented at all. You generated a man-made religion. great job. Cannot tell how much God will praise for doing this, but your Rabbis will love you. and I hope they can save you in the other world after they can save themselves. and take some time to learn how to bake the bread without burning it like a coil. you do not need 10 years to learn that.
