I am just wondering why the blood on the second dogs paw as it tried to get out was not discussed and not a single person in the comments is noticed it? This is a metal tub with some rigid edges. Warm water wouldn't change the effects of the baking soda at all. I've got a 10 yr old Maltese in not putting her in cold water. Nor my 100 lb male pit who's 3. That's not comfortable or pleasant .

You can give them a quick baking soda bath by pouring on baking soda and use a brush to finish cleaning. ( Thats one way of doing it)

You can probably do a vinegar mix in a bottle after as a deodorizer and "conditioner" that would soften the fur and help with any skin issues your dog is having. I know people use vinegar as a conditioner for themselves. The smell goes away after it dries

What is the the 1800's run a hose to room temperature, open the pore to the skin issues, not close them with cold water.. propane instance hot water heater on a fridge dolly with a propane tank. Same thing they use for washing horses, dogs, cars with temperature controlled water. You will get better results.

These are all good tips. My dog gets a bath in WARM water. I use Virgin Organic coconut oil on my dogs skin. It's a miracle healer. She is allergic to fleas and was itching so much she was plucking out her fur. Also she had scaly dryness which healed within days. I use it on my long haured cat when his Serrsto collar stops working to get rid of the flea eggs.

Thanks for the video & info. I have a huge bag of baking soda from a Costco trip 3 years ago, I had no idea. I dipped all 3 of my dogs who are fighting fleas, they enjoyed the cool water on a hot Texas day and are much more comfortable now, also made a 50/50 mix of the powder (corn starch /baking soda) and ran around treating 7 Corgis and a Great Pyrenees.

Be careful and don`t over do it. Baking soda can be very alkaline for the skin and paws. Epsom salt is a very good alternative. Best of luck ;- )

Boil a pot of hot warter 1st, then put the warter from the hose ! Even the temperature out so that the warter is warm. When bathing the cuties outside. That's what i do. No poch wants to be put in cold water! We dont like it, niether do they! Js🤷🏽‍♀️🩷

Yes for sure. I totally agree. I said the same thing before I saw the comment about boiling some water. I would definitely boil water and put it in that and then put the rest of the hose water in there so it's not too cold cuz they have a feedback loop with their temperature as well and we don't want them to get too cold. I don't care if you're in Texas, Florida or Wisconsin. Just put some warm water in there first. Thank you. And it also makes the baking soda break down faster. But yeah good idea and also this baking soda. It polishes our skin and makes it smooth and soft and it does the same thing for our little doggies and also eats away dead skin cells. My chihuahua, as she's aged, has got allergic itching. We've tried changing her diet and spent $$$$ on shampoos that dont work. Unfortunately, the only relief she gets is a cyptopoint injection every month or so. Not wanting to do this kind of intervention, i started blitzing oatmeal into a powder and soaking her in it. It would bring temporary relief. I had a box of bi carb and added it to her bath water, the results are amazing!!

You need to give a good probiotic and change the food, or the protein. If it’s chicken try beef or pork. Look up a company called “Four Leaf Rover” for good dog product. They have one called (Protect) give it for one straight month at bedtime in a bit of home made bone broth, or a good store bought one just for dogs. Don’t give the human bone broth too animals.

My yorkie had yeast for years... I saw a vid from a holistic vet who said to bathe them with Seltzen Blue shampoo... the original plain shampoo for humans. He's had no yeast since! Cold press coconut oil , cornstarch, baking soda ( everything is organic with NO aluminum) Shea butter cold pressed . I have to have castor oil too . Taking baking soda and peroxide and making a gel and brushing your teeth front and back yet so you do it for about a week you’ll see all the tartar everything turns pure white but I had to get I bought a lecher 25 brush with the small round head that way I was just getting my teeth and my gums a little bit because using the baking soda and peroxide and getting it on your gums a lot dries them out but when you’re done using that use mouthwash and it helps your gums from getting so dried out but it’s really good I’ve researched it online after my wife told me and my dentist tried to lie to me and told me not to do that because they wanted me to pay them to whiten my teeth stop going there after they told me that because I knew it was all a lie but like the areas that I couldn’t get in light I’m brushing well but Dennis can get areas because they had different tools that you don’t have

I watched this video twice to see if I missed how much baking soda to add to the outside bath - a whole box of baking soda, 2 boxes, etc??? What size trough is this - gallons??? If I get the ratio used, then I can do the math to scale it down to a smaller size as needed. Please and thanks!
