This is terrible advice for gardeners with soil like mine. 1. Baking soda is a salt. Adding baking soda to your soil will increase the salts in your soil. Gardeners with soil that's naturally high in salts may harm their plants by adding more salts. 2. Baking soda is a base. Adding baking soda to your soil will raise its pH. Gardeners with soil that is already alkaline may harm their plants by raising the pH further. 3. I've just got to say that your AI voice is REALLY bad. Please find one that can pronounce "tomatoes." Folks, if you're reading this comment, please get to know your soil before you follow the advice in this video. If your soil is acidic and naturally low in salts, you may benefit from adding baking soda. But if your soil already has a pH of 7.0 or higher, or is naturally high in salts, the addition of baking soda may be one of the worst things you can do to your garden.

Use this sparingly ,,check your ph levels in your soil first! If you have acidic soil then its pretty much safe to use however I cannot stress the importance of checking your ph levels.. if you get too much of this in your soil you will have heck of a time balancing the ph levels

I’ve read to water once a month with a teaspoon of baking soda in a litre of water not a the amount she is using. I wouldn’t water more than once a month Baking soda mixed with vinegar will kill weeds
