Thank you so much for your sweet video! 🎄I have a few inquiries, please: 🔸Do they need baking in the oven afterwards or do they Air dry? 🔸No salt in the recipe? I thought salt was a natural preservative so that they Last with out meldew throughout the years. Is it bad if l add salt? Can't wait to try them! Thank you in advance!!! 🎄✨😊

I’d also like to know the answers to these questions as well as add one of my own. Can the dough be stored for later in an air tight container?
@HomeFactory3 жыл бұрын
Hi! They do not need baking after air drying. If you are in a hurry you can dry them in the oven instead of air dry. Have in mind that some of this ornaments will crack while drying. They are very durable. I still have mine from this video (few years ago) and they are the same as the first day - beautiful. The recipe is this from the video. No salt. Just baking soda and corn starch. Thank you for watching my videos and for writing to me! Merry Christmas and a happy New Year :)
@HomeFactory3 жыл бұрын
I didn't try to store it for later but I would say that it can last for a few days if it is in air tight container or in some plastic bag. Thank you for writing to me! Merry Christmas and a happy New Year :)

@@HomeFactory These ornaments are so cute 😊 After they have dried for 2 days, would it then be possible to draw on them with for instance Sharpies or Posca Pens? Or paint them with some acrylic paint? Or use Modge Pod on them to decoupage them? Without risking that they will dissolve?? Also, would it be possible (if stored in a dry place) to save them for next year and use them again?
@HomeFactory5 жыл бұрын
Hi, I didn't try any of this techniques so I can't tell for sure, but I think you can paint them and use modge pod. You can try and let me know how did it turn out ;) For storing I can say that if they are dried completely thay can last for very long. I have mine from last year...

Recipe looks good. I've only tried the store bought air drying clay up till now. The test is in the following years though. How have these held up? Have they discoloured or gone mouldy? I want to be able to put a small amount of scent on the back of them. Will that make them go mouldy? Does anyone know?
