I tried this on fabric, hoping I could transfer an embroidery design on plain cotton fabric. Guess what? IT TOTALLY WORKED!!! I moistened the fabric, pressed down the print with the back of a spoon and got a beautiful light transfer, perfect to embroider over. What an absolute game changer! P.S. It transfers even better if you put a towel or other light padding under the fabric

For the ones that bend you can leave them drying for few hours and then put some baking sheet on top, then a plank and something heavy on top of the plank. This will be like a press.
@RedRockingBird3 жыл бұрын
That's a great idea, especially for those people that live in warmer climates. I dried the warped one with a hair dryer to show not to do it like this and not to dry too quick. What kinds of things do you like to make? 😊

@@RedRockingBirdthank you ☺️ I actually used this method last year when I made Christmas baubles . And it’s true you need a warmer room. I’ve put them in my bedroom. I started recently with clay and hope soon l will make a lovely ones like yours. Btw you have a very nice, calm voice🤗

Its beautiful. U look things seem so easy. I just want to ask can newspaper images be transferred in d same way?
@RedRockingBird3 жыл бұрын
I think newspaper is often heat and pressure, so not water based so will not necessarily come off with water, and it would be back to front too 💕
