Baking Spritz Cookies

Recipe:
Chocolate Spritz Cookies
Makes around 70 cookies if you keep them small.
You will need a cookie press to make these cookies.
Ingredients
1.5 sticks butter (I used unsalted)-soft
1 and 3/4 cups of all purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder- unsweetened
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 tsp salt
sprinkles and chocolate chips for decoration
Preheat oven 375 degrees F
Directions
In a stand mixer add the soft butter and granulated sugar
Mix well
Add the vanilla and egg
Mix well until fluffy
Sift into the batter the flour, cocoa and salt.
Mix well
Form the dough into a ball and wrap with plastic wrap.
Refrigerate dough 30 minutes (up to 1 day) before baking. I refrigerated mine 30 minutes.
Fill the cookie press with some of the dough and press the cookies onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
I decorated my cookies with chocolate chips and sprinkles.
Bake cookies 8 minutes.
Leave baked cookies on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a cooling rack.
