The menus, however, were very hit-or-miss in every single one i've been to, there were some better things, but most of the "iconic" things were just meh :/ (although eating a "dementor's kiss" was worth the terrible taste)

Cream soda is basically a fizzy vanilla flavoured drink, so if you can't find it I would recommend buying fizzy water and adding vanilla extract to it until it tastes like vanilla ice cream (you may need to add sugar for the sweetness) as cream soda tastes a lot like vanilla ice cream.

Because the cream soda one is just a syrup mixture, you could probably add that to heated milk if you wanted a sweeter latte and it would yield the same results. I will definitely be trying this soon!

I tried the "official" butterbeer when I went to the WB studio tour in 2013 and had my dreams crushed. I DIDN'T EXPECT IT TO BE FIZZY. I don't like fizzy drinks at all and it made me very sad. The cream on top was nice though. I will have to try the latte recipe at some point, and maybe experiment with drinking it cold.
