As a child growing up in western Azerbaijan province in Iran I have many everlasting memories. We used to be one country but in retrospect with how Iran situation is I am happy that at least people Azerbaijan is free and people seems to be happy. Even Turin, my provincial capital, has some similarities with Paris and it is called the little Paris of Italy. Anyway I think that Baku is worth visiting and it may be that one day I will visit it. i've been there and it is beautifully built. Like it literally has some of the most beautiful architecture. What is most impressive is that even sidewalks have nice cobblestone and even poorer neighborhoods are clean and tastefully built and decorated. Just a pretty city overall.
