Okay so be honest Guys was anyone shocked to hell and back when it was revealed that Mascaraed was Alice? Like I watched bakugan on cartoon network and I screamed when it was revealed. It was a really good twist. Much better than most movies and shows can do anyway.

Me too, I was tottaly surprised, mostly because back then I did not watch "Behind the mask of Masquerade" (I miss it) and then in the previous ep summary Dan begin talking "Alice is Masquerade" and I was "WHAAAAAt?". Now I re-watched the show now and in the previous episodes there were a few clues that in fact Alice was Masquerade, but then I did not see it coming. Was awsome. And now I think I love both characters even more than before.

Too bad she was so under-utilized. She had so much development within like 5 episodes, then just got tossed to the side after her one battle in New Vestroia. She never felt forced and we can she how much she struggled with her split personality. She's one of the only well-written female characters to date in any shonen anime.

Not to mention how she's written as a trans character in a unique way. It's hard to separate her and Masquerade since them being the same person is pivotal to the plot. They're such a good blend of character traits that there's nothing to really compare them to.

The same thing could be said for many of Bakugan's female cast. Runo, Alice, and Julie were all effectively sidelined after Season 1, and Mira was eventually overshadowed by Spectra. I can't speak about how Fabia's character might have been treated, since I never watched Mechtanium Surge, but I'm sure the same thing happened to her, too.

when you think about it the Legendary Soldier of Vestroia wanted to test Bakugan how can replace them in protecting Vestroia and masquerade is not exactly the type to protect someone but Alice is, and the purpose of Alice and masquerade fight was more then him concurring his weakness like it was for the rest of the brawlers, it was also a way for masquerade to see his inner good. (literally) and one step closer for him to accept Alice as the real one of them while he was created because of the negative energy of the Silent Core so actually what Exedra did was making Alice the guardian. nice.

I don't know who do I love more; Masquerade or Spectra... They both are obsessed with their aims, hungry for power, and they are both after Infinity Core's energy. Oh, and they both wear cool masks. But I think I love Spectra a little more, he is definitely more powerful. You guys watched Bakugan Mechtanium Surge? Spectra returns with Darkus Infinity Helios (he was as powerful as Titanium Dragonoid, even Sellon and Anubias imperessed by him).

I had a ventus excedra in when I was 11. My sister had darkus alpha hydranoid. She used only ventus and aquas because of shun and murucho, and I always used darkus because I liked masquerade so we traded bakugan....... I don't regret it I was the coolest kid using an alpha hydranoid at school. But we also made sure to get a pyrus dragonoid, aquas preyas, ventus god I forgot the name, subterra golem, and fuck I forgot the light name tigrerra. Wouldn't even use them in battles except our type choices, the rest were for showing off to our friends. We still have them in a nerd cabinet where we keep yugioh, pokemon, doctor who and of course our old bakugan

Ashwin Swamy when he turned his power into nothing but pure energy for Exedra when the Demon Wizard was activated, his body was depleted. Remember when Bakugan gain a bunch of energy and lose it, their bodies get overwhelmed. So Wormquake couldn’t have battled.
