Pyrus likes raw power Aquos likes tactical moves like Tsunami wave or attribute change Ventus and Subterra like attribute related moves like quicksand or air battle Darkus likes attacking from other gates or battling multiple at once and Haos likes bringing in two Bakugan to secure a victory via triple battle or power transference. Just a pattern I've noticed, but it doesn't have much merit in the later half of this season onward. Of course the attributes take after the brawler we see use them first, which is how they developed that pattern (ie Dan, Runo, Masquerade, Shun, Julie, Marucho)

They can all talk while released. Only a few can talk in their ball forms, and most of the time Bakugan don't want to talk at all because their greatest joy is battling (Drago is an exception here, obviously, though there's also the Doom factor)

They are different in a way from pokemon because pokemon don't talk except Meowth. They do. Also they if they loose they also loose their Bakugan but in pokemon it's not like that. But they are similar in a way that they both sort of have masters or trainers.
