I think they use it more rarely cause they can't activate thier bakugans attribute specific abilities. Like Dan turned Drago subterra so he can't activate pyrus abilities

​@@CarBroke.PhoneYesyeah, but the thing about dragon is that the gate card barely affects him since he can use abilities of all 6 attributes. It's just weird they treat it as he can only ever use pyrus.

It basically stops the activation of an opponents activated ability/abilities (sorry if you were being rhetorical in your comment). It was used a few times in New Vestroia.

@@umergulmuhammad9756 No it doesn't stop that. It just stops the ability it was negating. Example: Baron from New Vestroia used "Ring Zero" against Volt when Baron and Shun face Volt in Season 2 of New Vestroia, but Volt was still able to activate other abilities afterwards.
