The bold Harry Flashman was a very brave man, he took part in all 3 actions on the day. Granted he may he have been considered by some to be a quaking poltroon who was doing his best to weasel himself well away from any danger and, somehow, ended up in mortal danger three times instead. Could the cavalry have taken Sebastopol without infantry support, and heavily outnumbered by surviving Russians? Even if the infantry could follow up, they'd have to struggle behind the cavalry as best they could, in whatever numbers available. A bit iffy at best.
