I just love how you put the process together and wish my mind could be more free-flowing, even when I try doing the type of pencil markings that you do, they just don’t turn out like yours.. much more stiffer... 🤷♀️🤷♀️ I know I probably overthink everything... lol... Carry on with your wonderfully blessed talents... 👍😀❤️🇬🇧

Thank you so much 🌹I’m doubting my scribbling too, but a tip is to hold the pencil at the top and it will be more lose.

This is the second video of yours that I’ve watched. The first one I was completely mesmerized…(this one as well…) however this time I had a flash..vision…(I’m a medium) about you. That hasn’t ever happened to me while watching a KZbin tutorial before. Lol …anyway I don’t know if you believe in mediumship but if you do, I’d love to tell you what I saw as to validate whether or not the scene I “saw” belongs to you. Thank you for sharing your gift.

Thank you so much. I don’t know if I believe in that but I must say I got a bit curious and if you would like to share it would be great.

Jessica, do you ever use sealant on your completed pages? They're so beautiful, I can't imagine not sealing in all this amazing work!

No I’m not, maybe I should but I enjoy the process and I don’t like it when things take time.

Wow, I can assure you I don't often stop to make a comment... this is magnificent! I just don't know how I can achieve these results... can you maybe slow it down and talk us through your process... or maybe you've done that already? I've only just found your videos. I promised a friend a piece of art with a little bird napkin that she loves but I don't know where to begin... I want it to look busy and complicated like yours!!
@JessonArt3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. Unfortunately I don’t do those kind of video. I work full time, this is just a hobby and it takes too much time. Maybe in the future I will do a online class but of course this doesn’t help you right now. I think if you watch on computer you can choose what speed, and maybe you can slow it down and watch a couple of times and I will be happy to answer any questions you have about the process. Are you a totally beginner or you have some kind of knowledge of mixedmedia art journaling?
@denisedeleau11313 жыл бұрын
@@JessonArt not a beginner to art but definitely a beginner to acrylics and mixed media in general. I have been watching a couple more of your videos and there's so much fabulous content... there's plenty to learn from, so I do appreciate that!
@JessonArt3 жыл бұрын
On my earliest videos I did have subtitles but I stopped doing that at some point because people were asking questions on things that were already in the subtitles. I try to have a supply list in the description box below the video. Just have fun creating there is nothing wrong or right way of doing things in mixed media. Get a book, any book, and start playing, try different things, explore. I started in a old book bought in a thrift store, you don’t need a fancy book. I glued a couple of pages together and primed with white gesso. There is a video where I show it and talk on the video, 10 crafty questions or something like that.
@JessonArt3 жыл бұрын
I actually checked. I have a couple of videos after that one where I do talk on the video.
