My dad was a trend setter back in the day. He was playing at the swap meet WAY before all these other bands started playing there. At the time it was mostly the bigger bands like Tierra, Little Joe Y La Familia and Poncho Sanchez that were playing at the swamp meet.

@@socaleventvideos His bands name was Jay & The Latin Sounds. We played for many years at the Swap Meet, my cousin was the one who used to hire the bands to play there. As a matter of fact, Andy who's, playing trumpet in this band, played in my dad's band after I retired. I played trumpet in his band but later retired and Andy came in a couple years later.
