Very nice, your a great dad for doing that for your son. Am a first time dad and when my doughter gets older i want to make thing for her like this. I made a water / sand table for my preschoolers last year. Keep up the great work.

I love the look, design, and simplicity and know this has been built for over 4 months but PLEASE put some bar ends on that thing!
@allritythen10 жыл бұрын
Hey Brandon, Thank you for watching. The though came to mind after I built it, that if his pinky was at the end of the bar when and if he fell, that it would be chopped off clean. So I did put some grips on it. Used the ones off of the donor bike.

Good to hear! I've seen pictures of some gnarly mishaps with barendless crashes!

Great bike! What are the lengths of the fork and the beam that makes the body?
@allritythen10 жыл бұрын
I don't have the bike in front of me as I am on the road but based on the wheel size of 12" the fork is about 16' and the beam is about 26" to 28" long. When I put it together i had my son as the model and built it around him. I hope this helps. If you really need specifics, I can get them to you when make it home.

I would suggest putting some grips or bar ends on this or anyones future projects. Nothing like a hollow tube to make you sore if you fall on it. Great work though!

Hi, I am a teacher in the New York school system. I would love to do this with my kids this year. Could you send me the plans or patterns to do this bike. Thank you very much!

Hi Steven, I don't have any plans for this build unfortunately. I kind of did it on the fly. Made adjustments as I felt needed.

a very good idea. I want to make one for my little boy. please, can you share the manual you show in the video? I will appreciate it.
@allritythen8 жыл бұрын
I don't know where that manual is. Most of my ideas came from looking at current styles online and I just went form there. Good luck

Is there any chance those tyres had any manufacture details on them? And also, what are the size of the wheels? I'm designing a balance bike for a university project and those tyres are perfect for the look I'm going for. Thanks in advance and good job.

The pedals no problem but the seat would not go low enough for him, I had thought of that. It was a fun build though.

Nicely done, but a lot of work when you could have just taken off the pedals and chain and lowered the seat.

Why not just take the crank and chain off the other bike?
@allritythen9 жыл бұрын
Iron Forge Knives The seat is too high even when placed at it's lowest position on the regular bike. My sons feet could not touch the ground at that time. The wood bike allowed him to sit and have both feet flat on the ground.
