Balancer Spacer IV - OD & End Cleanup

My son welded up the balancer spacer parts, and in this video I turn the OD, face the ends, and size the pilot bore for the timing belt pulley.

Nice progress! is there any seal on the timing cover? I probably would have put on enough weld bead to clean up fully, but as they are, they should be plenty strong. Your son and I both need weld positioners, that's a project on my list.

There is a cover, not a complete seal though. I think he is just going to use the top half though. His bracket gets in the way of everything.

That C-clamp is a terrible ideal. If it were to vibrate loose from a cut, it may likely jamb in the chuck jaws. Not trying to be a dick, but you have had bad luck with stuff like that. -----Doozer

Yeah, haven't found the lower half of the micro stop - will have to make one.
