“Everything is starting to fall into place once the electrical is in place”. I know it’s not easy but keep your chin up. My husband and I always said it’ll make for a good story. You won’t remember not going to Nashville. Years ago our life was so busy raising our daughters that we forgot our anniversary. I called him at work and told him to meet me at Braums, the fast food restaurant for burgers and ice cream. That’s where we celebrated ourr the 25th wedding anniversary. We dated 8 years before we married. We are still together, he’s 75 and I’m 70. Our daughters live nearby. Time goes by so fast. Enjoy your time together. That’s the most precious thing you have.

I am also a very lucky woman to have a husband that can do anything. 37 years of saying honey I would like this or that and he can do it. We have built 2 homes together. The first in 1988 and the second 2022. We are truly blessed women.

Nelson is a gem when it comes to his electrician skills, but also because he’s just an all around nice guy. Of course, he’s not a pushover either. We really haven’t ever celebrated our anniversary in the traditional sense since we started having kids. We just have been very creative in finding little ways to celebrate. I think a little trip is a wonderful way to celebrate, but I think that we have grown closer and more in love through all the little diy projects for improving our homes and just raising our family. happy anniversary! my parents took a dog to the vets at the university of illinois Vets....WONDERFUL. he had to have major surgery on his stomach.....no "regular" vet would touch that. around here most do small animal/pet stuff on the side....they are farm animal vets mostly. it never seems "that you get done what you think you should have gotten done".....yep. but slowly.....it's coming together. nice you are able to help Nelson with the electrical!

I always remembered our anniversary with my first husband but that was only because we happened to get married on the same day as my eldest sister so she would remind me but we really couldn’t afford to celebrate it anyway, with 5 young children and paying a home off and only me ever working it was pretty difficult. When I married the second time it was my husband who always remembered our anniversary, it isn’t like I forgot completely but I was always busy and we were both working full time jobs and mine was split shifts in aged care I was always too tired to bother. As long as you are together and love each other, as you 2 obviously do I don’t think it matters, time together is more important and communicating well with each other is all that matters. Your beautiful home is coming together nicely and while it is taking longer than you wanted Yami, you are there with your home and family and it will happen where you will be moving into your new home. Just be patient and when you move it it will be so good to get inside and settled you will be so excited you’ll forget how long it took to happen you all will be just so happy to be in your home. Enjoy your week together by yourselves and you’ll be surprised at how much you will get done. Take some time to relax together though. I’m glad your pup Rose is doing so well now.

I'm sorry you had to cancel your trip! That sucks! But such is life... Dogs: We live in the country, just like you, and we have dogs also. We have a big, fenced backyard for them, we do not keep them free on the property. One of our neighbors have an electric fence (and the special collars dogs have to wear). It works for them. Most people keep them free... and pay the consequences. Dogs roam (in and out of properties), fight with each other, kill animals in other properties, get hit by cars... you get the idea. We don't have any of those problems.
