It still baffels me how Bandai Namco planned Tekken 7s content so idepently from thier world tour circut. Seeing as the content seasons changed somewhere around sebtember and the world Tour is Held based in the calander year. Its just stupid that the last stretches leading up to the Finals have completly different charakter Balance from the start of the competition. Espicialy when a charakter like Akuma gets a huge Buff in season 3 of the game and everyone suddenly has to deal with world class Pakistani Akuma players playing a straight busted Version of Set charakter

Street Fighter V corrected the problem intelligently.... "everyone has to play SF despite it being a $60 beta with lack of interactive mechanics, not only because of the legacy, but because we have the highest paying Pro Tour of all fighting games ;)".... Developers forcing there hand and try to balance games, it’s ruined a lot of games like overwatch from my experience I gave up with that because I would check in 3 months later and the game would be totally different

Thats why the most based and red pill way to do it is via NON patching a game. Third strike, ultimate marvel 3, melee, accent core +r etc etc are the most fun games to play. netherealm studios with mortalkombat always changed the game every other month and it was fun to play. Older games that are slightly more broken will always be fun tbh
