Balancing Gaming with Stress and Anxiety

As someone who suffers from a small degree of anxiety I can relate, my answer to it tho was to completely abandon competitive games to eleminate them as a source of stress completely

I like talking, but I have no friends so I try to play or watch something when I need time. I don't have a formal job (a master's degree is not helpful) and I cannot afford therapy (consequences of leaving the PhD program in Japan after my supervisor got physically violent last year and no one helped... 100% recommended experience)

This does resonate and is really helpful. After my binging for a long time on productive, hustling, fixing problems, and the sort that only promote more work and adjustments, your videos feel like the total opposite. While doing important things and advancing in life is important, so are other aspects that can easily be neglected because of how we might approach life... I find your videos calming and empowering, touching on the sides that i personally seem to neglect, and bringing a balance through the perspective presented.

I was going through the same period, i work shifts in a port terminal is it so hard to keep up with work and good sleeping patterns and gaming start to became less and less fun. I needed to rewire my brain and not to stress about everything and im good now thank you for this video

I dealt with Streas and Anxiety like GAD, and I was on meds, also sense May 2024, I took a long break from Splatoon, and also currently taking a PvP Hiatus from Gaming also. Like Warframe and Single Player Games also. I will make sure I feel better in 2025.

It's blowing my mind to see how fragile and self destructive human beings are.... (including myself). Being stressed and burnt out is pure self destruction. Why are we like that ? Life is hard right now, I always worry that we’re going to lose democracy because of politics, and I also worry that we might go to a world war 3 because of the war overseas, there’s a reason why I’m taking a break from certain games to not add stress to stress, climate change is another reason too, I can’t handle extreme heat, I was born in the winter, and I can’t handle regular heat as it is, I have to take a break from certain things to not overwhelm myself, and that’s the reason why I am taking a break from certain games!
