Balancing Perfection and Reality: Ketu in Leo and Rahu in Aquarius

Wow....I have this in my chart and I hv read that ketu in Leo does need to let go of the need to be the center of attention, self-entitlement, an air of royalty. The perfection part is new to me, although I have recently become aware of how this need does me so much harm. Letting go is painful bc it brings up the insecurity. This must be a big karmic destiny for me as i also hv sun conj mercury in Aqua too, Saturn in H5 (Leo) trines Rahu and sextile Ketu. While Saturn also squares the sun. Saturn squaring the sun has same themes as Ketu sun/Rahu Saturn.😝 I wasn't allowed to be lazy as a child and perfection was heavily demanded or else. There was a lot of "or else" bc I could not live up to my mother's plutonic/Leoine demands. Thus the pattern of pleasing the parent (Sun) is correct. The concept that we are not intended to be perfect or life is not suppose to be perfect has been a hard pill to swallow although life keeps delivering it. I'm def burned out and cannot keep up with the perfectionism as mere mortals come along and sabotage my initiatives or ignore/diminish my efforts. I also deal with quite a bit of ridiculous envy--maybe bc ppl pick up on the shining perfectionism that is not realistic. Thanks for this specific teaching, Ernst! You always deliver to my Soul in a timely manner❤🙏🏾plus Pluto is just 4° away from my Rahu so it's time for deep transformation and letting go.

I have this placement. I do not fear death and I don't think ever feared death. I do have judgment against laziness and have always felt like I should do something to contribute back to society I am currently retired and while I am learning to do nothing, it is difficult I have always had a problem with feeling I needed to be perfect not to the point of not liking myself . The older i get, the more forgiving inam of my mistakes I have always associated Saturn with responsibility and hard work. Maybe that comes from being a Western Astrologer. So I am having a hard time wrapping my mind around some of what he said.

This is so accurate, thank you so much. I am on the verge on having a heart attack in my mid 30's and have basically became incapable of much actually, which is absolutely terrifying for someone like me. It feels so unfair after all I have done, but now that you explained it, it suddenly all makes sense and I could not help laughing hearing you say a few things that used to sound like complete blasphemy to me, like being a lazy slob and rejoicing in it 🤣 And yet now even though I am still young of age, my body is literally refusing to let me keep up with my usual pace in anything! I do not even have a say in the matter anymore, my body is shutting down and giving me serious ultimatums. Not that afraid of dying thanks to my spirituality, but when I look back at my short life, all the efforts feel like such a waste it makes me sad..I think this laziness dilemma is worse when Ketu is in Leo in the 3rd, or is it just me? Maybe even worse for Ketu in Magha (such a royal nakshatra and so worried about the expectations of others and of the ancestors etc.) All the hard work only burnt me out like a match and was not worth it after all. Relationships eww forget it, just like you said, better off a loner slob 😜The problem I now struggle with is of course a bunch of serious health issues, but also how to manage to still get the means to rest, heal and survive...Being a burden to others is no option, I do not care if it is still my ketu being obstinate, I still need to remain independant (again sun quality) even if it kills me. Then again, my natal moon is ruled by Ketu (by nakshatra placement I mean) so I guess that plays out too...Ketu is not that easy to persuade or appease depending on the chart, nakshatras and houses!

I heard You say aspects made more sense whaf about signs? Today I learnt how to know if Ketu is auspicious in your chart. This is house wise. If Ketu is in house 1to 4 and you are in control of your emotions, you don't get drowned in them, you don't throw tantrums, then your Ketu is auspicious. From 5 to 8 house, when you go out and meet people and you don't become afraid or oppressed by people's presence. And also if whenever you have a law suit and it is easily resolved, without complications, especially if it is a property related law suit. From 9 to 12 house, if your sadhana is well structured and systematic, without everyday changes and chaotic swings, then your Ketu is doing good things for your chart. ♥️
