After the birth of my first child I had postpartum depression. I specifically told my primary doctor that I felt depleted and out of balance. I was sent to a psychiatrist and put on psych meds that made me feel like a zombie. Why do doctors do such things when they are supposed to first "do no harm"? Why does main stream medicine make it so hard on doctors who practice naturopathic and holistic methods? Why do they always treat symptoms instead of finding causes? This information Barbara has shared should be common knowledge and taught in health or biology class in school. Not the feelings are facts nonsense being pushed now.

I started my period at 10 years old. Then I didn't have one again until I was 15. My mom started at 8 years old. I'm 39 years old and my mom is 60. Her mom didn't use the pill. She was born in 1964. My mom did use the pill but mostly after I was born. I tried the pill 3 times in my life and quit very quickly because it made me crazy, put me in a deep depression, and killed my libido. Even low dose eventually made me crazy. I have been unable to lose weight for over 2 years. I'm walking over 3 miles a day 5 days a week. I do a 30 min to 1hour weight lifting workout (sometimes I take longer breaks and lift heavy, and sometimes I lift light and have shorter breaks). I tried keto 3 times. Once for 5 months. I only lost water weight of 6lbs and gained 3 of it back during. I track calories and am in a deficit at 1650/ day. I also track macros. I'm going off of a plan that actually worked for me 4 years ago and I lost 18lbs doing. I have lost zero weight. I'm actually getting bigger in size and the scale isn't moving. I'm not new to this. I don't over work myself. I'm not stressed. I sleep plenty. I don't drink caffeine and haven't for years. I was on a gluten, dairy, and soy free diet plus organic and grass finished for over 3 years. I supplemented for 3 years with all kinds of things. I paid a functional medicine doctor over 3k and did his ridiculous, and extremely strict meal plan based on a blood test of my food sensitivities... one of the only meats I wasn't sensitive to was turkey... and that gets old fast. But I did it and I didn't cheat. I took all his supplements and stopped mine. Nothing. No change. My symptoms started with melasma when I was 26 years old. Then, I had severe brain fog and memory loss, severe anxiety to the point of impending my ability to do my job. My entire witty personality changed. I was dull, slow witted, and clumsy, on top of having to write everything down so I didn't forget when I never had to do that before. I couldn't remember how to spell 3 letter words. I started getting random bouts of vertigo after I ate. It's been 13 years and I still have no real answers. Changing my diet helped, but not completely and then the weight thing started happening. I had to kill myself to lose it and now I can't even do that. Every doctor I talk to is so ignorant and has no idea what to do or test.

Amazing but more importantly crucial information that all women need. It’s ridiculous that we have men making decisions and giving us advice on female problems. This is a huge pandemic that we need better education like this about to help heal us women suffering from hormonal imbalances. Thank you Barbra for your amazing work, God bless you always x

I have been watching your talks on TikTok and so glad I found these on KZbin. Thank you for this info. I watched this because my daughter and her husband lost their baby at 22 weeks. She has low progesterone. Before she got pregnant she was taking drops and cream to bring the progesterone up but it never would increase and then she had a surprise pregnancy. They do not know why she lost the baby but I believe the low progesterone is a big reason. I will show her your video and will have her try the Wild Yam Cream to help. Thank you.

I have had a hormone imbalance since I was 13, I got pregnant (at age 22) about little over a year and lost the baby as well but at only 7 weeks My friend who is the same age as me also lost her baby in the first trimester but she and her husband started making health/lifestyle changes to fix both their hormones and she got pregnant a second time and just gave birth a couple days ago

Thank you for the answers that loads of research has not yielded. I am in tears at the simplicity of such human knowledge that we’ve been distanced from. I hear time and time again that women want to feel empowered; the problem is that we are being disempowered at the very root of existence by miseducation (or lack thereof) concerning our health. All the while, we’re instead reaching for things that we think will lend a fulfilling sense of empowerment. I am so grateful that you’re reigniting our connection to ourselves, ultimately nature as a whole. Much love to all who are here as well. Heal and be healed ❤

Do you get seaweed in your diet. Seawwed helped my overactive throid even though they say it doesnt it helped mine. I needed it obviously. My brain cleared like energy of a cup of coffee or something within hours it was like a fog lifting had adrenaline fatigue and exhuastion and was getting adrenaline rushes as well that and salt helped. I think the celtic salt has a little iodine in it anyway.
@LaoiseAnne Жыл бұрын
Buy kelp flakes and add it to your salt. A pinch has INSANE amounts of iodine. I dislike sea food I cannot eat it, started buying kelp sea salt (if not available kelp flakes and add it to sea salt.) helped my hormonal imbalance and shifting to organic farmers market for all vegetables. All problems solved!

Hi good morning I have thyroid issues and I had mine remove but I gained so much weight its like my body is someone else and so stiff am 35 yrs it’s seems like am 85 I try everything and nothing works ,do u guys feel the same way ?
@LaoiseAnne Жыл бұрын
@@shelenedinnald3090 if you are stiff, I recommend somatic yoga/movement. And restorative yoga may help you also.... .....the somatics ensures your muscles are on and functioning (the brain can get in the habit of by-passing them through injury and stress and emotional responses), and through reprogramming the brain/muscle pathways the energy moves more freely in the body and restorative yoga is like chicken soup for body systems (adrenal, reproductive digestive etc). Somatics takes some time and can feel awkward or like you are not doing it right but that is because of sensory motor amnesia and when you have the brain/muscle connections again, it won't feel so awkward and the awkwardness is sooooo worth it. I recommend the channel "Learn somatics" and meghan mc carthy has great restorative yoga/somatics. Hope it helps! .

Dear Barbara, thank you for all the information and for your kindness. I am 43 years old, never had a child and now 2-3 years that we are trying to have a child with my husband without success. I have used the pills for long time and I have stopped using them 4 years ago. In the last year, I had very irregular cycles, sometimes not having for 45 days, sometimes having for 2 to 3 weeks long and very abondant. My doctor told me that most probably I have a polyp after some echography but then after a small surgery she says that she doesn’t see it, so they don’t know the reason. Recently, I have found and watched your videos. I am already eating cabbages every day and try to eat salads and vegetables most of the time for a long time. So after watching your videos I have searched for Anna’s WYC, but in Italy there are some other brands of wild yam cream. There are also wild yam supplements (inside daily dosage there is 880 mg wild yam root extract of which 176 mg diosgenin). Would also supplements work or it is better to use a cream although it is a different brand, not Anna’s?
