Played the demo on the Steam Deck. 30 minutes of the demo was indeed all the convinging I needed. Game is a classic and that was obvious from the start. No surprise if it’s one of the bigger indie hits of 2024.

The same way you said you felt about balatro on the deck I feel about it on the switch lite. I never got much mileage out of the thing but after balatro it's been my go to game whenever I need to burn some time before bed or whatever where a PC or console wouldn't be applicable

As a follow up, I did buy Balatro, and it's great. If you don't know much about poker, all you really need to know are the types of hands you can play, which is referenced in-game. After that, there's very little of poker in the Balatro save for a few terms. I've been having a lot of fun with it. Thanks for the recommendation!

It's rubbish. Only a few "multiplier" jokers from hundreds can help win the game, "additive" ones are just OK. 90% of the rest are grinding time fillers.
