I would really love to see a video where you talk about skin colors and which hair colors compliment them best, and which colors to probably avoid haha. I love the ash colored hair, but I have a feeling that it may not match well with my skin tone… Unless he has already done a video like this, then someone please direct me towards it! lol

This video was super helpful! I just purchased the balayage lightener this week. It had very little lift, so I'm not quite sure if it works best with clients who have color buildup. I also did not measure properly. I will use your recommended measurement! Thanks for this video!

Can you make a video about how to choose a perfect dye that will complement different skin tones? I know that people tend to have warm or cold undertones, but stil do not understend what colors are best for which and why.

Fantastic to watch a real artist , colour is so tricky .. I'm wanting to embrace my white hair but my hairdresser is totally resistant so I'm going to attempt some balayage myself ! I really love you balayage technique. every hairdresser I've ever went to kind of 'weaves' my hair sections and puts lightener on the upper strands of hair from the weaving, it just leaves me with blonde stripes in my hair :(

This is a different type of highlighting than what you had. You can ask any hair colorist for balayage highlights. Guy is amazing but he did not invent this technique.

yeah it's so frustrating! I pay so much money to get my hair done like this. I show them pictures of how I want it but it always turns out completely different and indeed like you say barely visible. And you probably pay lots of money as well. wish I could make an appointment with Guy haha he would do exactly what we want :p

I was supposed to get my hair done today, but there are two saloons with the same name here in Norway, one is close to me, the other is 24 hour car drive up north. I bought the kit and this product didn't lift my client at all!!! I was so embarrassed. I used the high level (4levels of lift) ... Maybe it's meant just for white girl hair?? ... Returning today! :( wished it would of worked... I was depending on it! ;( back to foils it is. Can I use developers from different brands???? Maybe the lightner will work better ???? Give me the yes so I won't return it.
