I really like all the originals you do! This one feels like a Ram-era McCartney piece, with more coherent lyrics. Another one, Melancholia I think, felt a bit more like a Kinks tune. Is this gonna be a concept album of slightly eerie material?

Where do you get that tapping sound? I know the Beatles used it a few times and it gives it a unique vibe.

Knee slapping! I remember Knee Slaps being listed in the 'Flaming Pie' Booklet as one of the 'instruments' Paul plays on "Great Day" - always thought that was such a fitting sound to that song.
@evanwho113 жыл бұрын
It’s like McCartney music with Liam Gallagher vocals. Definitely a huge compliment.
@christophelabedan56962 жыл бұрын
Great vocals ! Why don't you sing on the Beatles covers ?? Love the song too
@AblyHouse2 жыл бұрын
The reason has always been that we can very closely replicate the instruments and create an illusion of seeing the Beatles play. The singing takes you out of that. We may do more in the future!

I want to learn how to play this so badly, could you list the chords?
@AblyHouse3 жыл бұрын
Sure! Its easier than it sounds. Its Yesterday tuning (whole step down). From there its a D with an open D string but at the 7th fret. Drop that a fret for the next chord, then drop the G string to the 5th fret and it turns into a D7 before going to a G bar chord. The bridge is like an A chord but you skip the G string (x02x2x) pick that upward and slide the shape up and around the neck. Hopefully that gets you started!!
@AblyHouse3 жыл бұрын
I was going to post the isolated tracks when the vinyl is ready, its probably a month out now
@gabrielopelka86253 жыл бұрын
When you say it’s a D, do you mean like an open D chord at the 7th fret
@AblyHouse3 жыл бұрын
Gabriel Opelka - X0077X is the first chord, alternating the two open notes and playing the fretted ones after
@gabrielopelka86253 жыл бұрын
Ah ok, I’m starting to get it down now, I’m starting to play it correctly, thanks a lot!
@anthonysalvatore47563 жыл бұрын
This is a very cool idea!! But it really needs a bridge...and the sky is the the limit!!! Great melody.
