@@anythingcars1389 I watched the video & posted my comment over 6 hours ago. Just watch for where they show the left ( driver's side ) rear wheel on the roller of the dyno. The camera was focusing right on that wheel. But I do realize they change tires like changing clothes, so I'm sure they were already aware of a missing lug nut. Missing that piece out of the new manual fuel pump connection was much more important, and I can't believe they missed that piece right out of the box that the cable or the pump came with.......lol. I was just clowning around & busting their chops anyway. I highly doubt they are going racing with missing lug nuts.

it's hooked up in the driver's side exhaust on a modded c-clamp. it's basically a blown alcohol drag car at this point running e90. I wonder why they don't go e100. since it's not showing lambda, just a/f, it's probably still set to gas. e90 likes richer on the gas math, I believe anyways. that and he's probably just being super conservative for the video/shake down, knowing it's going to spin the tires anyways. quick Google search.. so I guess this is why they say tune in lambda E85 stoichiometric = 9.765 E85 max power rich = 6.975 E85 max power lean = 8.4687

@@jsomething2 e85 when tuned on the plain gasoline AFR scale likes something more in the 11's, where gasoline is more optimized in the 12's. I just leave my gauge on the gasoline scale, because I know that scale better, and it's easier to remember a few small variations for e85 than to get used to a completely new scale. The car has a flex fuel sensor and blend tables, so running straight lambda scale would be the most correct, but I'm not tuning for Formula 1 or anything remotely of that caliber, so it's good enough for the girls I go out with. It works better than it might sound, though, because stoichiometric is lambda = 1.0 and the chemistry heading down the exhaust pipe that makes an O2 sensor read lambda = 1.0 is the same across all fuels, so when e85 is running stoich, it will still read 14.7, because all the gauge does is convert lambda to the particular fuel AFR, so for two fuels with similar combustion properties, the results are all pretty much equal at and near lambda, so I just keep looking for 14.7 across the board, and then just run 11's in the e85 AFR target table and 12's in the e10 AFR target table. They both seem to lean burn about the same, but I've heard ethanol likes a little less ignition advance for that, but that's usually only applicable on a fuel economy optimized table down low for cruising, and even then, only shooting for maybe 15.2. For something like methanol, you are far enough different in its lambda requirements that you would be better off tuning in the lambda scale or learning that specific true AFR range.

I knew it was math to show the gas a/f but didn't hit me that since 1.0 lambda is stoic on all fuels to the wideband, 14.7 is also stoic to all fuels when using the gas math. duh haha. and then you just gotta remember what each fuel likes compared to what you're used to seeing. the number I've seen for e85 like in the 8s only make since if you switch to e85 math. in the end 10.0 probably was a little rich, but the dyno wasn't really about nailing down a tune, just shake down for the track and to make content for us.

But as far as content is concerned, if this was a tv show, just the unveiling of the engine would have been 2 30-minute episodes, with 15 minutes of commercials.
