In the video you said you adjusted the fast feeds to cut into bald, I just wanted to ask how you where able to do it. I just bought a pair of fast feeds and alot of videos I have seen have told me to push the side piece by the lever back to get the cutting blade closer, but it still doesn't really blend into bald as good. Just wanted to know how you did it since you where able to blend from bald really nicely

Great insight vid man. Quick question. What do u mean by the 1/2 blade? I thought the fast feed clipper completely open no guard is a 1 and closed is a 0?
@kikado310 жыл бұрын
When clipper is in fully open position its called a half blade.
@harlemkidd8248510 жыл бұрын
Well that certainly explains why I damn near shaved my head bald thinking it was a 1 open. Will def use guards from now on just to be on the safe side. Thx bro.
@kauistplayground10 жыл бұрын
Best way to zero gap the fast feeds is to use the blade on the Oster #1 detachable blade.
@TheJaelo9 жыл бұрын
How did you zero gap your fast feeds? Did you use a different cutting blade? If so do they heat up faster?
@punchy7408 жыл бұрын
Switch the cutting blade to the Oster 76's cutting blade #1 and you're all set!
@2kclampgodlouis4419 жыл бұрын
Does the oslter fast feed cut better on black hair than the 5 star seniors and do you use a zero gap trimmer on kids
@kikado39 жыл бұрын
Actually there is no difference at all
@dreballz9410 жыл бұрын
what did you do to fully zero gap them? i can only get em close to zero but not at zero.
@kikado310 жыл бұрын
I did some crazy modifying of the insides which i prob would never do again.I might try doing what kauistplayground mentioned earlier about using the 1 blade from the detachable blades to zero gap them.

Are these the andis guards? can you please let me know?
@BlakeSuperior_Beats8 жыл бұрын
+MrBrooklyn4lyfe Yes, those are the Andis guards. If you're buying, get the "double magnetic" if you can find them. The single magnet guards are not nearly as good, but will still get the job done.

@7seasl9 жыл бұрын
Ricardo The Barber how did you zero gap your Fast Feeds. I zero gapped mine by switching the cutting blade from a #1 detachable blade. But, this cutting blade is slightly wider than the original cutting blade.
@10gdavis9 жыл бұрын
Hi I thought I'd ask you a question because you are good with answering them. Why is it that I never see fades where people go 0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1 etc? Why not start with the lowest setting and work you way up the grades? Am I wrong in thinking that hardly anybody does this?
@kikado39 жыл бұрын
A lot of people don't because it takes a long time to cut the hair. It's dummy proof but takes a while. You also have a chance of unintentionally raising your blend this way. This is why people use guidelines so that never happens. There are a few tutorials on KZbin where barbers are using said method tho.
@10gdavis9 жыл бұрын
Ricardo The Barber thankyou :)

Ricardo The Barber In addition to the Oster 76 and the 00000 blade, what trimmers can I use to bald a head and make it skin tight? The Wahl Hero? Or maybe the Wahl detailer, the Andis T-Outliners Which trimmers cut bald heads the best?
