How do you make the clove oil?

You can put the cloves in a pot with your favorite oil, let in simmer on low heat for approximately 20 minutes, no boiling, remove from heat, let it sit overnight. Drain cloves, store in a dark colored bottle with squeeze syringe, store in dark cool place, not fridge. Best to make 2-to-4-ounce batches. Happy hair growth.

Thank you for making this video. No one has done a time lapse. After my mom passed my hair started thinning , my sister pointed out a bald spot I couldn’t see. I got overwhelmed I locced my hair up. Thank you for posting this. I’ve been seeing people post videos who have no hair loss and they show how they make and apply it. I also see videos of people with thinning hair who only use it for a week or people who have perfectly healthy full hair that use it for a week or two. I’ve never gotten to see if this is safe long term for people with thinning hair or if it ever actually fills in the spot. Yours is the first one I’ve ever seen show this. MUCH appreciated.

You may have hit a plateau because the clove water wasn’t preserved and microbes took over. Although cloves have some antibacterial function, it won’t protect for long in such a water based solution. I think you should either consider freezing in one week batches and just popping out a few ice cubes each week, or making the water fresh each week and using that. Otherwise, consider purchasing a water soluble preservative like phenoxyethanol. You only need 1% max to preserve a water based solution- if it’s a small batch like yours (and made of cloves), .5% should be plenty. This was a great video though! Very honest and candid.

About the plateau, I recommend not using it every day because your scalp develops a tolerance making the clove water less effective over time. The chemical in cloves that boosts hair growth is called eugenol. It works by healing the scalp and reducing inflammation. It's very potent as you have seen in your own journey but just like the more alcohol you drink, the higher your alcohol tolerance gets, the more you use clove water the less effective it becomes over time. You can use the clove water every day for the first two weeks (to satisfy the need for instant gratification) and then every two-three days after that for continued results in the long term

I improved my hair by doing all these things: Having more and more vitaminC from lemon, orange, kiwi, 8 hours of enough sleep everyday, have nuts such as almonds, walnuts, or peanuts in limited, you can also have fishes like sardines, salmon. Exercise at least 30 mins daily. Using mild, pure oil, neem wooden comb, massager for scalp by liitleextra coconion twice a week. All this is good for hair fall control.

I have noticed more hair loss in the shower, and now a bald patch in my hair for the first time. The only difference is that I've been using Olaplex No.4 as my main shampoo, supposedly a shampoo that is supposed to help strengthen my hair. I bought it because people were raving about it, but I will now stop use and start my hair recovery journey. I've even found Reddit posts talking about hairloss from Olaplex, so if you've added Olaplex to your regimen and you're noticing hairloss, it's probably the culprit.

I have the same issue. My clove filled in my bald line across the back of my kitchen . It does work!! I advise do tiny bantu knots ( if you can grab it) on the loose hair in order to keep it protected as it's growing.

@@shawandabates3218 mainly because he was white, and not knowledgeable about black hair (even though i wanted him to focus more on my scalp, to see if there was something going on internally) and I feel like he wasn’t listening to me and my concerns. He just kept prescribing the shampoo, some drops, and was giving me steroid shots in my scalp. I won’t do away with one completely, because i’d still like some answers, im just going to find another one. Preferably a black dermatologist.

I was prescribed the exact same shampoo and another med for itchy scalp. The shampoo is so drying, so I started also using usual Crème of Nature Argan oil shampoo. I will try the clove water to see if it helps my alopecia condition.

I don't know if you know this, but the cloves that you strained out can be used again to make another batch to freeze for later. Cloves as you know is very strong and concentrated.

I too am using clove water my hair had started breaking in the crown area I can say that I have seen new growth not only in the crown area but also on my edges. When using clove water you have to moisturize because it is drying. Happy growing.

Thanks for the tutorial I had the same problem at the same aria and I used clove water with my blue magic grease and the hair started to grow back and I apply it to my edges too and it work , thanks for sharing ❤🇬🇾

April I just made lot of this Clove ,and Rosemary water ,and made enough for 3 month worth .I hope that not much .I know will take time all my hair is ok apart from the centre .I just hope ,and pray that hair grows back ,and can show all those who didn't believe in me. Prayers for your mom for healing! I wouldn't be so sold on that c l o v e s water though. Truly diagnosed alopecia areata is going to grow back anyway. Not certain how the rosemary oil was used but it has to be diluted with a carrier oil. I'll see if she has a video on this. Research scientific research says that Rosemary oil is beneficial, just as beneficial as minoxidil in some types of hair losses mainly androgenetic alopecia.

Just wanted to say that because your mother is going through chemo, she might need something a little bit stronger and more concentrated than clove or something milder depending. She may also need a product that has preservatives so that it'll last a little bit longer. But wishing you and her good health!

Sometimes loss, thinning or bald spot in the nape of the head can also be a result of clothing or scarves rubbing in that area. Causing the hair to break and thin out.

I have alopecia areata in almost the same spot as you. It first showed up when I was a broke college student and then it showed up again when I was in the Navy. Both stressful situations. I, however, went to the Dr. I was gonna MAKE the Navy pay for how much they stressed me out lol. Good luck to you, dear!

Oh damn! Ill be tryin this. My hair loss is basically the entire sides of my head, from just behind my ears to my temples & from roughly my ear lobes up to the curve of my scalp - so basically left with a long mohawk. Its not completely bald & i just cant bring myself to shave it. Ive tried a few things with no success in the last 10 years, this gives me some hope again.

If the clove water worked so dramatically so quickly you might wanna give more consideration to the rosemary because it's very possible it was residual/delayed reaction to that as well.

Thank you for sharing your journey! Clove water is really the truth! I make mine a bit different from yours. My modified recipe includes fresh: ginger, peppermint, rosemary, cloves, and lavender. It smells so good! I use it every other day, but should probably use it every day tbh. I’ve seen great results in the past 2 months.

@@ekahinueneann9204 no, the ginger doesn’t cause it to go bad. I’ve also been adding a rose water liquid that I purchased from an Indian grocery store (it has a preservative in it so that probably helps). I just store my batches in a large mason jar in a dark place and then transfer it to my spray bottle when I’m ready to use it. It’s been working for me. Hope this helps!

Thanks for sharing your modified recipe! Personally I prefer ginger, rosemary, and lavender in my tea or desserts not my hair, but I imagine that your mixture smells super good! You said you should probably use it every day but that's not necessary! This mix is potent and you don't want it to become ineffective by using too much of it (cuz your hair may get used to it and hit a plateau). Some others in the comments have said something similar so I just wanted to share.
