You can put the cloves in a pot with your favorite oil, let in simmer on low heat for approximately 20 minutes, no boiling, remove from heat, let it sit overnight. Drain cloves, store in a dark colored bottle with squeeze syringe, store in dark cool place, not fridge. Best to make 2-to-4-ounce batches. Happy hair growth.

I too am using clove water my hair had started breaking in the crown area I can say that I have seen new growth not only in the crown area but also on my edges. When using clove water you have to moisturize because it is drying. Happy growing.

Yup, this truly works. I've been trying the reactivaate serum by liittllexttra, and it's working. My hair has grown, especially in areas where I've had long-standing issues. Along with aloe and Indian gooseberry, the serum is the new addition to my hair routine that has finally shown results after years of trying different oils. Additionally, at the end of the week, instead of throwing out the tea leaves, I use them as a hair rinse during my weekly wash routine.

About the plateau, I recommend not using it every day because your scalp develops a tolerance making the clove water less effective over time. The chemical in cloves that boosts hair growth is called eugenol. It works by healing the scalp and reducing inflammation. It's very potent as you have seen in your own journey but just like the more alcohol you drink, the higher your alcohol tolerance gets, the more you use clove water the less effective it becomes over time. You can use the clove water every day for the first two weeks (to satisfy the need for instant gratification) and then every two-three days after that for continued results in the long term

Thank you for making this video. No one has done a time lapse. After my mom passed my hair started thinning , my sister pointed out a bald spot I couldn’t see. I got overwhelmed I locced my hair up. A year and a half passed. Hair still thinning/balding. Got that expensive Hollywood hair bar, my hair was growing like normal, not fuller, still balding In areas. I started wearing lace frontals. Thank you for posting this. I’ve been seeing people post videos who have no hair loss and they show how they make and apply it. I also see videos of people with thinning hair who only use it for a week or people who have perfectly healthy full hair that use it for a week or two. I’ve never gotten to see if this is safe long term for people with thinning hair or if it ever actually fills in the spot. Yours is the first one I’ve ever seen show this. MUCH appreciated.

I have the same issue. My clove filled in my bald line across the back of my kitchen . It does work!! I advise do tiny bantu knots ( if you can grab it) on the loose hair in order to keep it protected as it's growing.

He just kept prescribing the shampoo, some drops, and was giving me steroid shots in my scalp. I won’t do away with one completely, because i’d still like some answers, im just going to find another one. Preferably a black dermatologist.

I was prescribed the exact same shampoo and another med for itchy scalp. The shampoo is so drying, so I started also using usual Crème of Nature Argan oil shampoo. I will try the clove water to see if it helps my alopecia condition.

Prayers for your mom for healing! I wouldn't be so sold on that c l o v e s water though. Truly diagnosed alopecia areata is going to grow back anyway. Not certain how the rosemary oil was used but it has to be diluted with a carrier oil. I'll see if she has a video on this. Research scientific research says that Rosemary oil is beneficial, just as beneficial as minoxidil in some types of hair losses mainly androgenetic alopecia.

Just wanted to say that because your mother is going through chemo, she might need something a little bit stronger and more concentrated than clove or something milder depending. She may also need a product that has preservatives so that it'll last a little bit longer. But wishing you and her good health!

You may have hit a plateau because the clove water wasn’t preserved and microbes took over. Although cloves have some antibacterial function, it won’t protect for long in such a water based solution. I think you should either consider freezing in one week batches and just popping out a few ice cubes each week, or making the water fresh each week and using that. Otherwise, consider purchasing a water soluble preservative like phenoxyethanol. You only need 1% max to preserve a water based solution- if it’s a small batch like yours (and made of cloves), .5% should be plenty. This was a great video though! Very honest and candid.

If you use rosemary too often it will have adverse affects as well as cloves. The elders recommend only using 1-2X a week. I’m going to try rosemary water on my scalp 2x week. Congratulations on your progress. 😊

I also had 2 bald spots that were caused by stress related alopecia a couple of years ago, and back then, I didn't know about clove water, I only used castor oil religiously. And it really worked. The spots grew back to the same length as the rest of my hair. Good work!

I have noticed more hair loss in the shower, and now a bald patch in my hair for the first time. The only difference is that I've been using Olaplex No.4 as my main shampoo, supposedly a shampoo that is supposed to help strengthen my hair. I bought it because people were raving about it, but I will now stop use and start my hair recovery journey. I've even found Reddit posts talking about hairloss from Olaplex, so if you've added Olaplex to your regimen and you're noticing hairloss, it's probably the culprit.

UPDATE: My hair came back. My doctor took a blood test and everything looked healthy. He gave me the options to take steroid injections or do nothing; I chose to do nothing, and my hair came back. Take note that I stopped using Olaplex throughout, but my condition may not have come about due to something external such as Olaplex because my condition started in my facial hair first (where I don't use shampoo). So something triggered my body to attack itself in my facial hair first and then my head hair. I decided to focus on fasting and consuming foods great for my gut bacteria such as yogurts, apple cider vinegar, and sauerkraut so that my body could heal itself. I can't say with certainty what fixed it, but I have a feeling these actions helped.

Cloves water needs to be refresh every 5 days. One drop off Lavender oil only, will change the holiday smell. As noth products are an natural anti septic. And wont cancel out the Cloves doing its job.❤❤❤

Thank you for sharing your journey! Clove water is really the truth! I make mine a bit different from yours. My modified recipe includes fresh: ginger, peppermint, rosemary, cloves, and lavender. It smells so good! I use it every other day, but should probably use it every day tbh. I’ve seen great results in the past 2 months.

@@ekahinueneann9204 no, the ginger doesn’t cause it to go bad. I’ve also been adding a rose water liquid that I purchased from an Indian grocery store (it has a preservative in it so that probably helps). I just store my batches in a large mason jar in a dark place and then transfer it to my spray bottle when I’m ready to use it. It’s been working for me. Hope this helps!

Thanks for sharing your modified recipe! Personally I prefer ginger, rosemary, and lavender in my tea or desserts not my hair, but I imagine that your mixture smells super good! You said you should probably use it every day but that's not necessary! This mix is potent and you don't want it to become ineffective by using too much of it (cuz your hair may get used to it and hit a plateau). Some others in the comments have said something similar so I just wanted to share.

I had bald spot at the same spot, I tried everything. I later noticed a bump at and it turns out it was a benign growth. I had it taken out in March 2022, it wasn't cancerous thank God. My scar is healed and hair started growing again.

I always thought I had alopecia areata in the back of my head as well and had a punch biopsy done. I was going to began treatments to try to stimulate hair growth. The results of the biopsy showed that no hair follicles are present, so hair will never being able grow there. Make sure you’re getting thoroughly evaluated before beginning methods to help with growth, so you don’t end up discouraged or disappointed!

Try using a derma roller. It's not pleasant but it might help stimulate and open the follicles. Good luck

If you haven't already, see a dermotologist. You may have CCCA (Central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia). I found two small bald spots in my scalp several years ago and at the suggestion of my stylist, saw a dermo. After several months of testing and ruling out auto immune diseases, and a scalp biopsy (not painful), I was diagnosed with CCCA. It affects AA women who tend to wear their hair naturally and can cause permanent hair damage. Mine was caught very early and I had no scalp damage, praise God. I was given medication and my hair grew back. My CCCA flared up again in another section of my scalp two years ago, and I was treated again. No problems since. You may also want to stay away from braids and any styles that cause tension on the scalp for a while--your dermo will advise the same. CCCA can damage the scalp permanently, so I STRONGLY advise seeking medical attention.

Thanks for posting the before and after with using clove water. I’m 33, white, I’ve always had very fine hair but I always had quite a lot of it and I noticed about a year ago that my hair was coming out and then it just got kinda worse in the past few months. I went to a doctor, got blood lab results done, everything was great except she said my thyroid was a little over active so if it’s the same by my next appointment then she’s going to put me on meds. So hopefully that helps but I did start using clove water on my hair and my hair is still falling out a lot whenever I brush it. I havnt really noticed any bald spots, I think it’s kinda coming out from all over , mostly in the back and crown of my head. It’s hard for me to see if there is anything growing back but this vid is giving me some hope that this might help. I’ve been taking high doses of collegen and biotin supplements for the past couple weeks as well. Omg I take so many supplements lol. Thank you again for posting, I’m really glad it worked for you, hope it will work for my hair too:)
