2:45 Natural hair loss remedies
In this video, I’m going to cover natural and effective remedies for hair loss.
Many top hair loss medications treat hair loss by blocking an enzyme (5-alpha reductase) to inhibit DHT. DHT is a powerful form of testosterone that can burn out hair follicles.
People with too much DHT can develop androgenetic alopecia or pattern hair loss. Onion juice, green tea, rosemary oil, and zinc can help inhibit 5-alpha reductase.
Fluoride from your water as well as sulfates from your shampoo can also potentially lead to hair loss. Try getting a shower head that filters out fluoride and use sulfate-free shampoo.
Home remedies to help prevent hair loss and regrow hair:
1. Onion juice
2. Green tea
3. Rosemary oil
4. Zinc (oysters and red meat)
5. Apple cider vinegar (1/3 cup apple cider vinegar to 1 liter of water)
6. Consume more protein and trace minerals
7. Cruciferous vegetables and sea kelp
8. Selenium
9. Vitamin D, more sleep, and exercise
10. Silica
11. Keto and intermittent fasting
12. Biotin

Woops - forgot to add a few links to showerhead fluoride filters. They are in the description now. purewaterfreedom.com/fluoride-filters/fluoride-shower-filters/chrome-fluoride-shower-filter.html apexwaterfilters.com/shop/shower-filter/apex-mr-7010/ Personally, I put a whole house fluoride filter in. I used this company (no I am not affiliated): crystalquest.com/collections/fluoride-water-filters They used to carry a showerhead to filter out fluoride but apparently now they only have whole house filters and under the counter filters.

I’m 71 and been on Keto and IF for almost 2 years. Last year, my brother had a problem with losing a lot of hair. He went to see a dermatr who gave him some chemicals to put on his head. Unfortunately, those chemicals made his hair fall out even more, I can't remember the names of chemicals. Luckily, his friend told him about a special coconut and onion hair oil and shampoo called littlextra coconion. His friend had used it before when he had hair loss too. My brother used it every day for three months, and after that, his hair stopped falling out. He still uses it even now, six months later. My brother also loves to exercise and spends 30 minutes every day either doing exercises or jogging. I think that helps his hair because it makes the blood flow better in scalp. But I also think that our genes play a big part in this hair loss problem.

I have had great results with preventing and reversing hair loss by taking a daily combination of zinc, saw palmetto, biotin, and collagen supplements. I also use a derma roller on my scalp once a week, followed by massaging my scalp with rosemary oil and leaving it on for a few hours before shampooing it off. Massage of the scalp is an excellent thing, as it helps to promote a healthy blood flow, which in turn helps to promote hair growth.

As a hairstylist of about like a decade, I can share with you you, that you're not supposed to use harsh shampoo on your hair. I've noticed hair lines of numerous individuals, and I spotted that folks who were using harsh shampoo cleansers generally had poor hairline. So I suggest only to use mild shampoo cleanser only. I myself use and advise to use littleextrra coconioon shampoo only. Also, do warm oil massage two times a week as it boosts circulation and promotes hair.

The mental effects of hair loss are so overlooked. Even I failed to see how devastating it was until I experienced it. It occurred to me a few days ago that I haven’t left my house without a hat in a year. I’ve always been complimented on how thick and curly my hair was and then BOOM. It started falling out in clumps. Some people have an easier time dealing with it but I’ve found it very difficult. Thanks to this channel for the help the past few months. 7:00 Women lose hair during their menstrual cycle because of a _drop_ in estrogen, not from too much estrogen. That's why hair becomes thinner as a result of menopause: the drop in estrogen. It's also why during pregnancy, when estrogen levels are high, hair tends to be more dense and thick.

What I like most about you Dr.Berg is that you get right to the point. There are so many videos out there talking about diets and cures including other Doctors that keep talking actually about everything except for getting to the topic that their videos are meant to be about and what ultimately to do. You're always spot on and your videos can actually put to practical use.

The reason other doctors don't just say the treatment is because typically they justify themselves with peer-reviewed science and good arguments for and against each treatment. Probably 50% of what this guy says is unsubstantiated hogwash.

Every time I watch one of your videos your voice is so soothing and it's like the way you explain it is so easy for me to understand. I'm going to try all these I'm a 42-year-old male and when I was 18 my hair is receded like a widow's peak on the sides but I still have pretty much a full head of hair. My dad was completely bald and my mom's dad was completely bald and my brother's bald even after trying rogaine but I've always done these different home remedies rice water is another good one, rosemary oil. I take vitamin D3 every other day. I think this video is great for maintaining good hair as well. You don't want to try to regrow your hair when you're halfway gone by then it might be too late. Great video!

Very good. Thank you so much for all the videos you publish. I hear nettle is also a great thing that should prevent hair loss and encourage growth. If applied alone or with clay it should also provide volume and natural color so that the hair not only feels healthier but also looks so. I have shaved my hair twice during the course of my life and both times I have applied nettle and castor oil. Great results! Keep up the good work and write if you share my opinion
