Hi from Spain!! I decided to shave my head because of your videos. In february, I discovered Andis profoil litium plus (similar to wahl finale) and decided to buy it. I shave my head twice a week since february (each 3-4 days). The results are amazing. Really close and smooth shave. It’s not a cheap shaver, but it worths it. I've just (sort of) built my own cordless balding clippers which are perfect for what I wanted... I've been using the Wahl Lithium Ion clippers for a while now but wanted something that cut a little closer without going to the razor. I tried my Philips oneblade but destroyed a new blade with one cut so decided to buy a set of Wahl balding clipper blades and see if they could be fitted to my cordless lithium ion's....they do and they work brilliant!!!

I've been using gillette fusion 5 for years now for head shaving and it never dissapoints. I think you may be able to get a finer close shave with the twig, leaf or safety razor but it seems like those require much more of a dedication to time in ritual which some people just don't have.

I’m currently using the Wahl 100th year anniversary clippers with a 1/2 guard on- so obviously I’m not going for the zero look right now. But, if I was going to zero I would use my Babyliss Pro Titanium foil shaver... designed to cut the hair on your head (rather than the ones designed for your face) as close as possible with an electric shaver, it works so well- would totally recommend it.
Thank you for the review. One blade is still the best for close shave and sensitive skin then.

Thanks for taking one for the team! Looking forward to hearing about your more updated routine. I was intrigued by that double-bladed safety razor setup you had going in that ASMR shave video. I think it depends on what type of skin and hair you have. I tried both on my head and I found the Durablade better the oneblade so much better. Durablade is like a hot knife through butter, when used on longer, thicker hair (1inch +), where the oneblade struggles, it only works really well with the short stubble. I shave my head using both when my hair was longer, and when using the durablade I was suprised how well it glided through my hair in 1 quick and easy motion. As for the Oneblade I had to go over the same spot a few times and use it really slowly, and it would catch. I have always had thick corse head stubble and found the durablade performed better of the 2 for the type of hair I have. But the durablade I have must be an upgrade, or just sold in Australia/NewZealand? I am not sure as mine is blue and have not seen any others that are blue, only seen orange on review. The blue durablade has a slighty different head on it, seems like thats the only difference, and by what I have seen with people using the orange one, the blade on the blue durablade makes a huge difference.

For my experience the best one is the Remington Rx5. It cuts very well if you shave every 2 days (also 3 but start to has some difficult at 4°). It shaves like OneBlade with new razor (this product is also very good but to expensive change the razor every 5/7 shaves!)

In terms of electric shavers, I just don't think you can beat the Phillips One blade. But yes, you do have to change out the razors pretty often and not let the hair grow for more than 2 days to get the best results.

Why not DE for head?
@michadomeracki59104 жыл бұрын
@@IssaG0ld In my opinion DE is worse for head shaving because DE can easly cut you and the problem is that you have worse vision of your entire head than vision of a face and very bad vision of a back of your head so DE head shaving has to be even slower than DE face shaving and as a face shaver I can tell you that using DE requires so much patience. Everyone has different skin sensitivity so someone else might have different opinion.

@@IssaG0ld Merkur 34c a short one and 2 pieces opening okay looks nice. I recommend you getting a nice brush and a stand for brush. Talking about lubricants the best options are creams and soaps. I honestly don't understand your strategy which consists in scaring young men who are losing their hair by showing them the side effects of certain baldness treatments. I think you have to understand the fact that wanting to have hair at a young age is perfectly normal. If treatments and operations exist, we should take advantage of them. Of course I talk about some videos not this One especially.
@nb94bz4 жыл бұрын
His strategy isn't scaring young men who are losing their hair of the side effects of treatments.
