These are some great tips, but honestly the best thing to do is just rinse off your head 2-3 times a day and remove that excess oil. Once you shave your head bald, the sebaceous glands in your scalp keep producing oil, but have nowhere for the oils to go so it just sits on your skin. A nice cool rinse removes it all and leaves you matte and comfortable.

Great advice. I've shaved my head a while ago and I went through most of what you described in the video. A couple of days after the shave, my head started to get ridiculously shiny, and it got worse as the first strings of hair begin to appear. And it also accentuated the balding spots on my head in a way that I haven't noticed before. After that experience I've stopped shaving and I was waiting to do it again when I have no choice anymore (I am not completely bald yet, just the "crown" on the top of my head). Left to my own devices I would say just leave it the way it is. If your paranoid then hit the head and dab it (dont rub) with one of those blue paper grease towels from a gas station. I work a lot under very bright lighting and the camera burns out shiney spots. In the past they often used a makeup with spf in it. Now that I'll be footing the bill myself that stuff is too expensive. I bought a regular sun tan lotion and the baby powder. My skin is so pale it works on it, but if you're more tan then you may have to do whole face and neck down below the collar. And dont try to wing it with an electric shave. Get it down to the skin with a good blade.

Hey, I know this channel is mainly for being comfortable with your hair loss which is amazing but would you be interested in trying detumescence therapy for few minutes daily? I think it’s essential for a healthy scalp which got rid of dandruff, itch and oiliness for me. I do it to prevent baldness naturally and my scalp got looser, my father is bald and his scalp is hard and immobile. I think DHT is not the main cause but it’s leading to calcification/fibrosis on scalp pushing the hair follicles away from capilleries. I have mad respect for your channel and it’s amazing you can own baldness but it would be cool if you could try and report the effects.

I have my SMP done recently. I'm naturally shiny due to been oily. I found Zero Shine 2.0 pretty good and you can buy it online in the UK now. Bit expensive but good. It's got good ingredients so healthy for head and even face with spf also. Only down side is you've got to use make up remover wipes or pads to take it off. Saying that it's waterproof and lasts all day. So could be a good thing. I try different products and im giving HeadBlade mattifying head cream ago. Just had my 3rd and last session with SMP so can't try it for a good few days till it's completely healed. Best thing I did wad getting the scalp Micropigmentation done by EVOKE in Sheffield. I look younger and have more confidence and im not hiding behind a cap. Looks real with the detail of the tattooed hair follicles even up close. If you wanna see it I'm putting a Google review up on EVOKE and I'll have pictures to go with it.

Having the SMP done has definitely helped for me personally. Gave me a hairline and got more density now. Everyone is different on this subject as you know. The SMP has sort of gave me more shape on my face so head doesn't look as big if that makes sense. Love your videos, even bought a 3 blade leaf shaver. Great product.
