The plot revolves around a young apprentice, Tarquinus, being trained by his mentor, Thaddeus, and being prepared to confront one of the most dangerous men who has ever lived. Although I have attempted to maintain as much canonical coherence as possible, there are elements in this story that would not be supported by Games Workshop. (The traditions, Sense etc) Hence, this story should never ever be considered canon. The tale is not a drip-fed pre-realised piece of fiction. It is an ongoing story that has evolved due to patron and fan comments, votes and encouragement. Although I now know where we are going, there will be issues with this long form collection that would not be so easily discerned via the monthly, or longer, nature of the story's development. I am not a trained or experienced writer, so this is the evolution of my 'craft' for all to see. I sincerely hope you can see the progression and effort I have taken to improve and try to bring this collective dream into reality. Needless to say, the task is ongoing. Easily finding out that Thaddeus "tests his reflexes" by playing Tetris, of all things. Extra comical to me, as I was just reading about how it supposedly helps mitigate the effects of PTSD. Thus we finally find the core reason for Thaddeus' impenetrable mental fortitude against the darkness!!!
