Hexblade Warlock Duellist's Prerogative is a match in heaven, it gives you the 3rd attack +necrotic damage of the lvl 12 Warlock Level Perk AND deals bonus necrotic damage on top of its necrotic damage on top of the perk

I think you get that when you have Wyll in party. When you rescuing Mizora from Moonrise towers you must persuede her to reward him. Then she give Wyll this rapier I think.

It’s strange… Shar/Selune’s spear of night, turns into a two-handed glaive (I forgot the name) if you’re playing as Shadowheart. It has different properties/abilities from the spear. And it isn’t included in this vid, which makes me wonder if there are other weapons like it that are only available if you’re playing specific characters.

It was a surprise to see it turn into a glaive when I played as redeemed Shadowheart, because in my first playthrough as Tav, I had Shadowheart turn away from Shar too, but it remained a spear. But it was neat tho, the glaive had a butterfly skill which is cute. xD

one-handed weapon damage is so low compared to versatile or worse two-handed weapons. And there's no way to make up for it like speed, just an additional 2 AC.

Yes (as far as I know). You’ll need to progress his personal quest far enough for Mizora to bestow it to Wyll.

… hmm seeing the weapons, I think I’m gonna need to do some revisions to one of my 5E characters. I thought warhammers where more like Mjolnir. Not a lighter maul. Half-orc fighter blacksmith using a Blacksmith’s hammer that upsizes to weapon size given to him by his master. Looks like I had him using the wrong hammer type. Oh well. You live and you learn. I’m gonna port him into BG 3. Gotta get this shit right.

Kinda disappointed that there isn’t a radiant great/long sword or a flame tongue or upgrade to the everburn. But there are some cool things *according to a wiki the flaming fist long sword is “flame tongue” that works as a per short rest action attack :/ *

I hate the sizes of the weapons in this game. A greatsword is literaly twice the size of your body, but a shortsword looks like a letter opener. Only longswords are pretty accurate. 🤨

@@theinternetsightseer2935 Githyanki weapons are clearly distinct from the non Gith ones and magic is no excuse for impractical designs. Imagine this scenario, a fighter is set to fight his exact clone and the only choice of weapons they have are these: A sword that has enchantments that amplify its already present qualities, versus a sword that has to use enchantments to make up for its poor design. Even if the odds aren't certain, I know which weapon I'd pick just to be sure. Its unimmersive to see impractical weapon designs in fantasy, the only excuse is when you're actively trying to dissociate your audience. Also weapons and armour that take functionality into mind often look better anyway.
