As much as I'd love to poly romance Karlach and Astarion it makes sense that they're both monogamous, given their personalities and background. The writting is consistent and I respect that.

She handles it a loooot worse if you fix her heart and spend the night with her and then when Astarion confronts you you tell him you wanna be with him. I'm at this point and feel genuinely terrible for leading her on 😂

It murders my SOUL that you cannot be with Astarion and Karlach and yet BOTH of them, when they see you getting close with the other, says hey I'm not going to get in the way, that person seems to really need you. I have a solution! Do the Karlach origin and romance Astarion! (Gotta be that way round IMO because then you have to have a non-sexual relationship in the beginning without rejecting Astarion, which I'm more comfortable with given Astarion's story)

I'm playing a sorcerer and I actually had the option to tell her than I can do something to cool her down, and then I could cast ray of frost on her and get a quick fiery peck.

I love how Karlach just flat out says "Now get out of here, I have some stakes to sharpen." She seems so calm about it at first, but then that one line just makes it like "They'll never find your charred corpse, Astarion. Of all nine hells, I'll keep that promise."

Karlach thinking we`d want someone ``whole`` is so sad, her fantasy-illness really messes with her self-esteem. ; - ; I`m glad there`s the option to reassure her she is, though. (Kinda wish that it was with the romance option as well, but it`s implied.) Ty for the clip!

I never got this dialogue.. Astarion made me choose, so I chose him and she got super mad.. She LITERALLY refused to talk to my Tav for like a WEEK I couldn't even remove her from my party !>..LOL

Omg same here. I fixed her heart and spent a night with her (just cuddling though) and then when Astarion made me choose & I picked him, she got all mad like "you and Astarion??? when were you gonna tell me about that???" uh honey the whole camp knew. Shadowheart knew. Gale knew. I'm not sure how you missed that.

@@SciPhi_ for real though in terms of romance, dating Astarion as Karlach is the only right answer IMO. All others are valid for enjoyment purposes but they would be so good for each other.

Have you not gotten very far in his romance, then? He becomes really sappy and earnest once you get deep enough into it. After a certain point it's REALLY obvious that he's absolutely head over heels.

He cares, but he assumes he would never be anything beyond a fun tryst to anyone. He thinks all he's good for is sex, and if you talk to him first, he assumes you're dumping him because he can't fathom someone actually wanting to be with him. If you tell him you DO want to be with him, he goes "What?? Why????", he's genuinely shocked.

You guys are way too greedy. Karlach and Astarion deserve exclusivity. There is NOTHING wrong with people not wanting to share. So choose one of them and stop complaining
