You can remove the Bloodless debuff with Lesser Restoration, and keep letting Astarion bite you every night to give him the Happy buff. +1 to attack rolls and saving throws to him permanently pretty much for free, if you use the lesser restoration amulet

I enjoy these kinds of games, but I often feel like a slow learner when it comes to tactics and true planning. I'm working on my first tactician run while watching this after giving myself a full balanced playthrough for the enjoyment and pre-planning. Hearing why you do the things you do really help me understand how to better prepare for my own encounters, and I hope to be able to follow this to do an honour run someday myself!

If it makes you feel better, Honour is Tactician. Only real difference are enemy Legendary Actions.

Today, after almost 300hours in the game I learned I could combine the owlbear spear :DD I never even thought to try and combine the parts lol. Also, love how you explain your thought process through this series, helps a pleb like me who's on their first honor mode run rn :)

Shovel can also help threaten enemies for advantage. Especially useful for a rogue. If you keep her invisible before starting a fight, she won't join the turn order. Then, position her freely. Also FYI Shouvel is a girl, not that it matters. :)

Damn. I really want to try a Honor mode run, but I’m not sure if I can take the rng of it, especially if I get as far as Act 2 or Act 3 and die. I know Act 1 is the hardest? Or at least like a problem for most to get past, most runs end in act 1, but still. I spent 2 hours on Act 1 in this mode to basically get Zevlor mad at me, for using friends, probably a rookie mistake, I forgot friends acts differently on higher game modes but that basically ended my run. XD I’m imagining spending a lot of time trying to get past just act 1. I also feel like in honor mode, Martial classes might be better, esp early on, not having to long rest for spell slots mostly. So like Fighter, Barb, Monk, Rogue, Ranger? Etc. Though I do love your Tactics! They are really smart, and give me new ways to do things even for non honor runs, just make things easier.

ACT1 is for sure the hardest but that's because you're below level 5. After Level 5 everything gets a ton easier, it's just spell access. My best advice is don't be afraid to rest constantly. Burn all your spells if you have to!

After taking out the leaders the remaining gobs are hostile, so getting back through using that direction would be difficult with them alive.

I have, I've never used it personally. I'm not for or against it, I just prefer the chaos lol.
