It keeps happening because when he asks you to be part of his relationship with his ex and taste the love and his soul y'all keep picking "I'm into this" instead of "not like that, bro" when Narrator asks if you want to get more intimate. And they did patch it so those who are too dense to realize what's going on can imagine friendly intimacy after. Just refuse to go all the way in the spiritual threesome with his ex.

I was so surprised when this happened... I like him a lot but he was squishy so I barely kept him in my party before act 2 and the one time I had him in act 2 he says I turn him on, I tell him I'm not interested and a few nights later he's in love with me and does the most romantic thing ever?!?! they really should have done a separate metric for approval and romance. like two separate scales and you have to initiate romantic dialogue first to trigger it. atp if you're doing a "good" play-through (I'm playing a paladin so duh) gale WILL fall in live with you.

Okay, so it's not just me? because all of a sudden this guy is grabbing my character's hand and putting it on his heart and then we get back to camp and he's all like "You wanna experience the weave?" And I'm just having a moment of complete overlap with my character because I was just being friendly with this guy and now I've found myself in a situation where I am incredibly uncomfortable.
