Ah, makes me think that Regis would definitely try to help him get rid of Cazador. Even tho it's a big crime for a vampire (at least in witcher universe). I really like the idea of them being friends and Regis annoying the hell out of Astarion with his lectures :)

Вот поэтому он и говорит, что хочет взять червя под контроль. Солнышко - еще ладно (кстати, в каком-то прохождении он заметил, что приглашение зайти в дом ему больше не нужно), а вот к Казадору он точно возвращаться не хочет. Как бы тут конфликт не возник, когда будет возможность избавиться от червяка.

Quick question. Where the hell did you get Astarion's armor from? I swear i've searched every corner of the map, yet i cant find that armor with leather pauldrons!

It's just leather armour +1, you should be able to buy it from the druid merchant by the entrance to druids' grove :)

So as I understand it, Astarion is actually not an undead because, well, he became a vampire spawn so he will not die. I would like to point that out. There's no necrophila involved when you romance him :D And... he used to be a good guy, an enforcer of law who almost died while doing his job. He's so much more than sassy elven rogue vampire eye candy. I'm intriqued. Here's hoping the creators know what they have in him.

When he was alive he sold the people he charged, including Gur people, to feed the vampires and so on. He was corrupt and thus Gur found him and beat him half to death because of the gross discrimination he enforced. Being 'saved' by Cazador was just a power move of said vampire lord to gain leverage and also get another ace up his power base sleeve

Thank you for the info. Shit, so he doesn't even have a past to be proud of. I suspect he's indeed going to betray the player group but that won't be the end of the story. Like... he's so shady it would be such a poor narative choice to turn the player character into a moron to put any faith in him in the first place. In the end, he already payed for his past crimes with 200 years of his life being hell. If he's going to go the way of the tragic villain, I hope he'll be a memorable one.

@@svoba4af i just pray for him to change over time with our character. A good influence, so to speak. Or if our char is evil as well they'll become partners in crime?

Not gonna lie, I would prefer him changing a bit for the better although he'll never exactly be a good person. I'd love multiple endings for the PC and the companions depending on the player's past choices too. One of the endings being Astarion learning to care at least for the player, yes. The options to be nothing but kind and supportive to him aren't there just to gain one night stand early in the game, I hope.
