42:58 44:48 45:47 I would love to see Kruz explore Shadowheart's story in a future playthrough. Hopefully it's not a dark urge run tho, unless it's resisting the dark urge - I definitely think it's better to explore all the companion's stories in a good guy run first tbh, it's much more interesting & enjoyable imo.

Honestly, all it takes is a tiny bit of conversation with Shadowheart and then she'll do the right thing when you confront the Nightsong. Her character growth in a good playthrough is 2nd only to Lae'zel. Kinda sad you didn't get to see it.

1:21:15 Magic Missile is great bcos it's a guaranteed hit - it can go around corners & hit multiple targets. It also triggers a concentration saving throw, so it can break concentration spells.

Lol Shadow heart is awesome, you guys should have brought her in there, and let her have her chance to level up herself, she could have made the choice not to kill NightSong

I ended up stealth killing every Absolutist in the tower way before the Nightsong quest, and then once you complete the Nightsong quest you can just easily walk up to the top of the tower with no resistance apparently. 🤔

1:07:23 You can acc dip your weapon on Narrator while he's on fire & it'll apply that effect lol. It also works that way for all other fire sources, including candles.

55:41 Black Hole is great lol, especially for setting up AOE attacks. You can also use it to pull enemies around corners, off ledges &/or into traps. Plus, it can be recast/ resummoned up to 5 times per Short Rest.

i had shadowheart stay with me after freeing the nightsong. she renounced lady shar and switched religions to selune.

8:47 1:12:30 Apparently you can get infinite Short Rests to restore Warlock spell slots if you have a Bard in your party with Song of Rest (I assume it works for multiclassing into Bard as well). Song of Rest is a lvl 2 Bard action that essentially gives you one extra Short Rest per Long Rest, but apparently each time you enter a new region it resets your Long Rest cooldowns, so you can use Song of Rest infinitely (unless it's been patched now). I wonder if it could also just be worth multiclassing your Warlock (i.e. into Wizard or Sorcerer) to get more spell slots in general tbh.

I love this game to bits but that being said: Even on my first bumbling embarrassing play through I felt like I had to babysit Jahira *hardcore* to prevent her from dying. How did she survive that long being this squishy and pushing for frontline?!?! Maybe it was just her time? Lol

I'm glad they had to redo the fight to protect Halsin's portal. Ngl, sometimes it's more fun to lose & try again than to just complete it first try lol.

shadowheart will usually pick to save her on her own but she has to be there with you sucks you won't see her storyline which is to get away from shar but astarion's is still the best companion mission in the game in my opinion so at least you have that i personally think it's best to have all companions first run just to see there storyline but

12:51 Iirc warlock spells are always cast at the max level they can so I'm pretty sure the potion that restores spell slots might have worked just fine. 1:12:30 You only get 3 max as a warlock unfortunately lol but I feel the pain in that

Send all your food on your person to the camp. It is literally taking up weight that your person can carry, especially because you can't use it until you're at camp.

I let Jaheria die. I don’t know. I think the way he character went in full force was hard to keep her alive. So I came to terms that she would’ve been happy for what she died for.
