Because of this game, I think of smiting in my tabletop game sounding like a loud sonic boom. Sound design in this game is absolutely fantastic

I can’t stress how much I love Paladins in this game and the beautiful visual and sound design of their smite spells. It’s so deep, bassy, and echoey when it hits and Oathbreaker’s smites sound so dark and haunting and Devition is so heavenly and beautiful. You can just feel the impact and strength of them.

I thought they had different sfx and that I wasn’t going crazy lmao. Played too much vengeance paladin and I’m on my first devotion paladin and the smite sfx sounded slightly different
