The Spellmight Gloves also work with Magic Missile. Despite it never missing, it's still programmed as a spell attack, so you'll get the +1d8 on every missile without the drawback.

The warding bond rings you pick up in the Shadow Cursed Lands is also perfect for the Abjuration wizard as it's a free abjuration spell and remains when the rings are unequipped! Loved the drunken old cranky dwarf wizard though, super good concept!

This gets me excited about playing around with wizards more. Seeing them fleshed out in a wizard party really brings the whole character builds to another level: you don't need one-man armies in this game and it becomes more forgiving creating several characters at once

After you finish your same class party run. I suggest a build video on a classic party build, mono class for each, Fighter, Rogue, Wizard, and Cleric. A nice send out to D&D 1st Ed, aka Advanced D&D. Not to be confused with Advanced D&D 2nd edition, lol.

Also…. Your transmuter wizard reminds me of an old DnD character gimmick of the strength wizard, who casts magic missile by throwing stones and his favourite spell is cast iron (smashing someone with a pan) 😂

An interesting party would be an Intelligence caster, Wisdom caster, Charisma caster. Focus on more pure casters. Sorc, Bard (lore), Warlock (chain or tome) 4th... not sure. Pure not caster? Nothing remotely magical. Champion Fighter? Even Barbarians are a bit magicy maybe not Berzerker. I suppose you could do a Monk then because they use Ki, not spell slots.

Nah, everyone knows monks know the best spell. Fist! Best melee range cantrip in the game. Can even be up-casted for a single ki point.

Hi HoboZone, amazing work as always :D I am wondering if you would mind give me some advice on how to build a....front line commander sort of character? a character with a somewhat centurion vibe ; someone who commands their friendlies, support them, protect them, while still staying in the heat of battle. Currently I am thinking of maybe a protective fighter with battle master subclass, utilizing abilities like Commander's Strike and grabbing gears such as Phalar Aluve and Mantle of the Holy Warrior to support my Melee companions in battle. However, I am unsure what kind of gears should I use or exactly what kind of subclass/feat should I take.....So I came looking for your insights~ :D.

Do what you outlined but also throw in Valour Bard as well. Battle Master 7/Valour Bard 5 works really well. Being a Bard justifies the use of Phalur Aluve lore wise. If you want more info, check out my Scooby Doo video. Fred specifically.

well it would be open hand monk + the force gloves/ring. and the ring of throwing, he throws his giant cask of wine/ale. he also likes ice, given that he uses a shard of True Ice helping his brew. maybe 4 elements tho ice would be the main and only factor really i think 🤔🤔🤔
