Tav doesnt necessarily have to be the illithid, Karlach is also an option if you take her with you into that dialogue scene. good for instance if your Tav is also a gith, cause a gith tav also gets to go to the astral plain with orpheous!

Gale can also offer to blow himself up also so orpheus wont transform

Going full monk with Lazel make so much sense I don’t understand why people don’t do often. Also the sound of an evil side to a character like Karlach or Halsin would be really cool. A karlach that wants to take everything from other just like how everything was taken from her. A Halsin that despises baldurs gate and it people for abusing of nature, he even has a dialogue line for this if you talk to him in the lower city.

I love the idea for Karlach, but it's so hard to do it as origin Karlach. She's too much of a sweetheart in her thoughts.

Also, a note for your lore, creatures in the astral plane do not age, so as long as Voss is there he doesnt get older. This is how he knew Who was in the Artifact personally. This is also why the Githyanki have creche on Faerûn and other material worlds. Otherwise their kids would never age.

I have always interpreted laezel saying “warrior” as more indicative of someone with martial prowess rather than just a literal fighter, she calls Karlach a warrior and so I could easily see her respecting monks, especially gith monks

Sadly, shadow sorcerer is not a subclass in game, but it is a mod, so it can be done, just not in base game.

Yes, it is a glitch, but you know you dont have to concentrate to keep the psychic blade right? 1st comment will be how to do this. It also works with flameblade.

So, grab a hireling from Withers and have them cast Psychic blade/flameblade then dismisses them back with Withers. Rehire the same hireling and the weapon will be in their inventory as an actual item to used by anyone. Cheers.
