Baldurs Gate 3 What happens to Hirelings in the Self-Same Trial?

This video was just to explore what happens to the hirelings in Baldur's Gate 3's Act 2 Gauntlet of Shar Self-Same Trial. Normally, this trial will clone your Tav and companions! But what happens if a group of hirelings do it solo?
My "actors" for this clip were made to look like Brialavant (Half-Elf), Tomboldt the Pallid (Drow), and Amek (Tiefling) using the Magic Mirror so please forgive me if they don't look entirely accurate.
All actors are existing NPCs found in Baldur's Gate 3.

at the rehearsal I always send one in naked and let them fight together xD and as a tip you only need one ball you can use the magic knock down at the door, so you don't always have to do all the rehearsals :D

Hahaha! I had never thought of sending them in nude! I have played around with doing some spicy 1v1 scenarios but that's fantastic 🤣 Gonna try the knock trick next time!!

You only need to use one character in order to complete that trial.

Yup! It'll only clone the characters that enter it.

Huh, when I did it on my first playthrough, I only had one character enter, but it cloned my entire party; guess that must have been a bug. Fortunately, that one party member was a storm sorc, so the trial only lasted as long as it took to cast a lightning bolt. :p

It will clone everyone who is present during the bowl cut scene, regardless of whether or not they proceed to enter the room. So if your whole party was there at the time, then they all get cloned :).
