I have a swift. This is my second swift. I was planning to buy a new swift. But I will never buy the 2024 swift only because of the engine. My current Swift is 4 cylinder and excellent in refinement and fun. I feel the new engine is a downgrade and it is no more value for money. Even wagon r 1.2 has better value. People buy Swift not just for mileage.

Best idea is to get a baleno before its prices get jacked up. As of now literally no reason to get a swift. Baleno has better engine (4cyl vs 3cyl in swift), same mileage, better features, more leg space, 360 degree camera and more boot space.

Baleno is always better :- 1. Better engine . 2.Big boot and cabin . 3.All power window and automatic climate control from base . 4. More crumple zone . I have driven my Baleno Sigma 15k in one year . It's complete family car with good mileage.😊

test drive both baleno and Swift. The Swift was much better in driving and handling. The refinement is not as bad as many claim. The swift looks refined to drive. The power delivery is reduced by a little margin but the difference is very small. While the swift manual is the best option the Swift currently has the best AMT in the market.
