Just ran across your channel. What happened to the cattle, I didn’t understand. My local sheriff recently put out a warning about cattle rustling being on the rise. The way things are anymore, it’s hard to have anything anymore. Anyway best to in coming year.

Eyup lad I called fire service at 9:30pm. I could see the fire service trying to get in down at Old Moor Tavern. I only noticed it on a whim, saw a small fire thought nothing of it, then half an hour later it had spread substantially. I’ve also commented on your Facebook post with a photo

Your next set of gates weld your post code to them and then paint the postcode bit. Sadly I would say that the bar will not be much use for forensics due to the fact that it was out in the elements and touched by all of you and cows prior to being nicked. Also speak to your rural police officer they maybe able to give you some ideas on what to do to stop items or make them harder to Nick.

I think you have to look at the viability of this field. You’ve wild cattle who won’t gain as you wish, constant fence repairs, loss to straw and theft of pens. Your limited as to how you can manage. How much extra does it cost to raise those beefs? Lots of sums and some long family discussion. Nothing easy! In spite of it all have a good New Year.
